Works well! My dog had to be taken to the vet for expressions about every 2 months, he'd scoot, leave behind that smell and that was the only thing helping since he couldn't express himself and I'm not sure why. I started him on the powder version of this and I noticed changes within almost 2 weeks! No more scooting, no more smells, and he enjoyed the taste - now he isn't picky so I'm not sure how other dogs would take to it. He enjoys these as well because he sees them as "treats", however, I think pricewise and the amount of product received, the powdered version is better for a dog my boys size (65 lbs - 3 chews)

We’ve been using the Vetnique Glandex Soft Chews for about two years now, and the results have been incredible. Before we started, our dog regularly had issues with her anal glands with constant scooting, a strong fishy odor, and frequent trips to the vet or groomer to have them expressed. Since adding these chews to her daily routine, those problems have completely disappeared. No more odor, no more discomfort, and no more extra vet visits. These seem to work my dog. He won't just eat them I have to cut them up in his food. We haven't had any problems with blocking anal glands since I started using them which is what I was hoping for.

I wasn’t sure if this would help. My dog Orion is 8 years old and weighs 130lbs. She has trouble with her anal glands from time to time and a vet visit is truly expensive for the expression of these glands. So when she starts to show problems down there, I start her on a pumpkin, rice and chicken diet. I throw in the recommended amount of these and her symptoms do ease and go away. I sometimes try give them to her separately but most of the time she only eats these with her food. Over all I would by again. Cheaper than a vet visit and she is doing a lot better.

Our English Setter has major gland issues and has to go monthly to the vet. They mentioned these and what a game changer! They helped to firm up the fecal matter which helps with gland excretion. It's been over a month and so far so good! If anything it gives consistency to that which needs firming up.

My vet recommended this product for my shih tzu dogs. My dogs are fussy about taking "treats" but I have no problems with this one. They love taking it because it smells and looks like a treat they are peanut butter flavored. They take one every day. It will probably take a while before I see the results of taking this. I am happy that they take it so willingly and will keep giving it to them for a while to see if it works like I think it should.

Ich war zuerst sehr skeptisch, ob ein bisschen "Pumpkin" und "apple pectin powder" die Analdrüsenprobleme meines Hundes lösen sollen... wurde aber positiv überrascht. Angefangen hatte ich im Juli mit den Kautabletten - jeden Tag morgens zusammen mit dem Hauptfutter bzw. mittags als Leckerlie zwischendurch. Da die Packung aber für nur etwa einen Monat reicht und man in dieser kurzen Zeit keine richtige Beurteilung abgeben kann, habe ich anschließend das Pulver bestellt, was viel länger hält, da ich bei meinem 10 kg-Mix nur etwa 1/4 Teelöffel dem Futter beimische. Ich kann nun, nach etwa 4 Monaten täglichem zufüttern, sagen, dass es wirklich hilft! Die Symptome (permanentes belecken und rutschen) sind schon nach etwa 2 Monaten deutlich besser geworden. Mittlerweile würde ich sogar sagen, dass sie überhaupt nicht mehr auftreten. Doch wie das leider oft so bei (pflanzlichen) Tierarznei-Produkten ist: es ist von Hund zu Hund unterschiedlich ob es Wirkung zeigt oder nicht... daher einfach selbst testen! Bei meinem Hund funktioniert es wunderbar.
