This was very very good, the feel is really smooth, and it’s not too thick. Noise level is really good, and it looks nice. Very light, which is good for metal drummers. Very cool 😎

My son is on the drumline and is constantly practicing and subsequently super hard on his sticks. We stick to Vic Firth because of their durability and lightweight design. This is at least our second or third purchase via amazon.

Vic Firrh has always made drumsticks and these SD1 sticks are great with a practice pad. Will get a few sets of the A5 sticks for the acoustic set but these are great with a practice pad and/or an electronic drum set with rubberized cymbals.

These are nice sticks, But for me the tip is too tiny (wood tip stick) Have not seen the nylon tip version yet...

I recently got into drums and needed some sticks that wouldn’t break the bank. These seemed perfect. I’ve never heard of the brand before but the reviews it had was enough to convince me to buy them. It usually goes for around $15 but I managed to get them while they were on sale for just $9.99. I’ve never used drumsticks before so I can’t compare these with others but I do like how they feel in my hand. They’re a good size and have a good weight to them. They seem well made as well, I don’t see them breaking anytime soon unless I throw it hard at a wall or something. I’ve been using them everyday for practice and they’re still in great condition. My wife isn’t too fond of all the noise that I make but we managed to compromise (I bought her a pair of noise reducing earplugs found here which seem to be doing the trick). Actually I eventually bought myself a pair as well..it helps me get into “the zone” so to speak. The only thing that I thought was weird is that it comes in a huge box! Like it’s not even the same size as the sticks. Who’s idea was it to do that?? Another downer that I want to mention is the tape. The drumsticks are held together by a strip out of the box but it’s SO hard to remove properly. You know how sometimes when you remove a sticker there’s that icky sticky residue leftover? That’s what you’ll get with these. It took me probably half an hour just to get it all off. It seems like I’m not the only person with the problem either as multiple people have mentioned the same thing on amazon. But I don’t regret buying them. They feel good in my hands and are a great weight. 9/10 would buy again :)

These take me back. My drum teacher told me to put my thumb over the flag, close my fingers, and rotate my wrists 45 degrees in. A quarter century later, I still sometimes find myself checking my grip that way. I’ve been through countless 5AN sticks over the years from Pro mark, Zildjian, Vater, and even Ahead (maker of the “unbreakable” metal drumstick—clad, incidentally, in highly breakable plastic sheaths.) Anyways, these are the best. They feel the best, and they are super durable. I play harder than basically any other drummer I have ever met, and I can get these to last, relatively. I used to buy pro mark by the brick. They were okay, but these are better. Whatever you do, just don’t ever buy a Zildjian drumstick. They make their electronic drum sets look good by comparison.

Decent set of sticks. I tried both bing and bong with great success.

Grip is good and lasts. This is our second pair but she hasn’t opened them yet because the drift ones are still going, two years later

Liegen gut in der Hand und durch die gummirung rutschen sie nicht so schnell bei schwitzenden Händen. Sie wurden schnell und gut verpackt geliefert.
