The only downfall of this product is that there is no instant up/down adjustment on the arms. Otherwise this mount is outstanding. It is easy to put together, the only items you'll want that aren't in the box are a screwdriver and a wrench. It went up in just a couple of minutes, and it's sturdy and very well made. I like that I can put it flush to a wall because it does not need any room behind it. This is beyond amazing for the inexpensive cost. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Also adding to the awesomeness is an array of additional arms and accessories for this you can find from Wali to make your setup perfect for you, all at great prices. I've got my office setup complete with three arms and two laptop trays and the whole thing cost less than a single arm I purchased from Amazon Basics. Handy thought regarding the laptop trays is that they're a nice size, and with the catch at the bottom, I've found I like to use it as a literature tray. I drop a book on there and it holds it at a nice angle to read from when transferring or referencing data. The trays do bounce some when typing, but much less than any other type of arm/tray system I've ever used. Highly recommended!

Awesome design and quality and a fraction of the price! Very heavy duty, came with well crafted instructions. All screws, bolts, small parts, and tools (except Philips screw driver) were included - all laid out and labeled. Easy to get at and easy NOT to loose! Included all parts to allow for multiple installation options, including through a grommet hole on a solid surface without edges. Overall fit, finish and functionality exceeded my expectations and was priced at less than half of what far lesser options are selling for!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the ergonomics and space utilization of their work area. I attached mine to an older model Ergotron workstation cart so it is being used in both stand-up & sit down and it does so wonderfully! Although I have a separate keyboard tray with a full-size keyboard, the laptop holder is very sturdy and can easily be used regularly without it bouncing around as you type or rest your arms as you mouse around. The pole comes with an extension should you need it, depending on the size of your monitor or if being used as a stand-up station on a fixed height desk or table. Extremely well made! The laptop shelf would also function very well as an adjustable swing out surface for holding books, binders, or other references materials within easy sight but off the work surface. Or to hold a small light table, or even as a writing or drawing platform (with appropriate surface pad added) as it is completely tilt adjustable - unlike other products that do not tilt. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this one!

Now that Marie Condo's name has become a verb meaning to clean up, that is what I am doing to my desks and work spaces. I am going for minimalist desk space to place only peripherals and devices where I am working. Flat surfaces are getting eliminated as they attract clutter. I installed the WALI Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount on my primitive Anthro desk from the 1900's; then installed my 24 inch monitor and my 17 inch laptop on the included tray. This is a great kit! it lifts the computer and monitor off the desk and gives it a nice height and range of motion. Now all that gets to rest on that pristine corpse grey desktop is the board with all the letter buttons and that magical pointer gadget. It goes together pretty easy, I even looked at the instructions to make sure they were printed correctly. If you have ever disassembled, repaired, and reassembled your car's engine to have it start and run when you were finished- this kit will not challenge you. Read no further. The rest of my review will help the up and coming Makers: + This kit includes tools- but not all the tools. You will need additional wrenches that have integers and "mm" printed on the tool (like 10 mm). Wrenches with fractions won't work. they are the wrong size and they will make you think of 4th grade math. Save those wrenches with fractions for disassembling your car later. + You will also need some tools that have a Plus shape spike end- like the shape at the beginning of this sentence- with a comfy handle on the opposite end. The search term "philips screwdriver #2" on this very website will return a proper picture. These come in handy to manipulate some of the hardware that comes with this product. + The Laptop Tray provided with this product is a fine solution and will accommodate most reasonable laptop computers. My computer being anything but reasonable wants to slip off of the tray and head for the floor at nearly 10 meters per second squared. Consider adding anti slip mat, rubberized feet, or your favorite "hold in place technology". For the rebellious pedants who ignored my warning to "read no further", I know what a keyboard and mouse are, I know they are called metric wrenches, I know its called a Philips screwdriver, and yes- I strayed from the instructions and found some adhesive backed feet to put on the tray to keep the laptop in place. I know my audience, they call an Allan wrench an Ikea tool. I also know that my audience knows it is 9.89 m/s^2; its a little ribald humor to call it 10 meters per second squared. Its okay to have fun sometimes. Now I ask you: is it still a laptop computer if it sits on this product? Oh, and just one more point of articulation would have been nice in each arm. Motion is a little limited. Clean Livin' out!

Never wrote a review before but I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It's solid and made pretty well, it's a little tiny more expensive than other similar monitor stands I've seen but I think it's worth it. Comes with everything you need, screws, Allen wrenches, etc., My primary purpose for this stand was to use it for a monitor and my laptop, to my surprise they come with an extra second VESA monitor mount, so later down the road if you want to use it primarily for 2 monitors you'll have the extra monitor mount and all the screws for it as well. No complaints. I think I read some other reviews that says the arms aren't strong enough to hold up a monitor or whatever... They're probably idiots, there's a screw at the joint of the arm labeled "+" and "-" tweak that to adjust the strength of the spring. It'll definitely hold what they recommend in the guidelines.
