Update 05/03/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Found another great use for this lithium grease.... Ceiling Fans. I have them in all rooms and bedrooms. As it gets so hot in the desert, they do need lubricating once every couple of years. Most of mine are either Hunter or Hampton Bay. Regardless, after years of operation, they can squeak or just get plain noisy. I never realized they could be lubricated until I researched them. I've had great success lubricating most, just a couple of squirts near the bearings, let it soak in a while and then turn on the fan. Squeaks gone. I've had one that isn't either of the main brands and that's developed a really grinding sound. Took quite a few squirts over a 24 hour period and finally, it's now silent. I've not had any issues since. Just one thing, make sure you shake the can well before use. I found a minute or two shake was enough. Also, make sure you can is upright when you squirt. I had one occasion that resulted in the can being upside down to be able to get into a roller bearing of a window and it just released air, not lube. If you have such a problem and need, be aware that Amazon DOES sell a long extended hose that is just about a universal fit for all spray cans and can be reused on a new/replacement can so it'll last a lifetime Update 04/22/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just purchased 2 more cans. This is wonderful stuff. I also have used it on my dual paned opening windows and patio door as the wheels on them were squeaking and they didn't slide freely. Couple of squirts top and bottom and from each side and the windows and doors all operate so smoothly, I can slide a window open with 1 finger (used to be two hands were needed previously). I stand by this stuff, it's really good for the garage door and sliding windows. Original Review ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've always trusted WD-40 and I had an old can of this white Lithium Grease Spray but needed new. I saw a replacement on Amazon with the same design as my old can but it was considerably more than this new. So after discovering they had released the same product with a "new look" I bought a new can. Purpose? To lubricate a Garage Door that was awfully noisy. I sprayed each and every hinge, each and every roller and the door screw itself. Oh my... what a difference!!!! Noise level went down considerably to a point now all I can hear is the "noisy" motor!!!! LOL... Never heard that before because the squeaks coming from the rollers and hinges were so loud. After much success, I decided to give this stuff a go on my front door which had a sticking lock. One squirt and a a couple of open/closes of the lock and that went from sticking to smooth as a baby's.... Next came a kitchen cabinet door which would not close fully. I realized the problem was the hinge was so sticky so another couple of squirts and that solved that problem. I sprayed the garage door some weeks ago and it's still super quiet. Just one point, shake well and don't hesitate on the squirt. You don't need loads but don't light finger the spray. Firmly press and what comes out is a spray that then leaves a white grease on the subject. I've also bought a second can which I keep in the garage. I used that one on my hedge trimmer. I used to use a light oil spray just to keep the blades smooth but found the white grease a much better lubricant that doesn't dry up in the heat like a light oil does.

The manufacturer is well known for good products, and this is no exception. The stuff stinks but it does a great job lubricating things that need greasing. The smell just goes with the territory.. some chemicals smell. The spray can makes dispensing the lubricant a snap. The fluid is lithium heavy meaning it's not a goop like normal grease. So it runs a bit which is good and bad- it gets into places regular grease would not, but beware of things you might accidentally spray. It seems to last, too. I used this to lubricate three garage doors, and after half a year they work like the day they were lubed. This is a good value, and for casual lubricating around the house should last you years. Shake well.

I bought an office chair that started squeaking right away, which was incredibly frustrating trying to work with a "SquEAK squAaaNK" every time I leaned back and forth. Then I tried this white lithium grease. Its attached flip-up applicator lets you target specific spots (without having to worry about misplacing the extension), or you can opt for the mist spray with the applicator in the downwards position if you need a broader application which is nice. One quick spray silenced that irritating squeak for me and restored my peace of mind. It's been nice and quiet for 6 months and I'm happy with my purchase.

Used this product to spray garage door springs and wheels. The spray nozzle doesn’t work as well as regular WD40 because it’s a thicker liquid. Lubed up the doors pretty well and they work smoother than before.

I moved into my home nine years ago and it's the first time ever having a garage so that means the first time with a garage door. I didn't get a lot of materials on 'maintenance' for my home so little by little I do research and it struck me to look up if I should be doing any maintenance on my garage door. So I used AI and asked the question and learned that I should spray the coil/spring and the parts that 'bend' when the door is opened or closed (and I watched a video). I learned that this is the type of lubricant to use on such areas so I purchased it and used it in the appropriate sections. I did notice a decrease in the 'sounds' when the door is opened or closed but it was done to ensure the spring is kept lubricated. I've added this 'task' to my list to ensure that, going forward from time to time, I apply a fresh coat. The only downside is there is an odor that will linger for several days. I didn't really smell it the day of - but for several days after I could smell it when I go in my garage. If you have the type of coil/spring on your garage door - this is what you need!

I purchased this White Lithium Grease Spray specifically for lubricating my garage door rollers and hinges, and it worked wonders! Unlike traditional grease, which tends to thicken over time, this spray is long-lasting and keeps everything running smoothly. After applying it to the metal components, I noticed a significant reduction in the noise from the door. This grease is versatile and can be used on a variety of items—door hinges, car parts, lawn mowers, locks, garage doors, and more. It’s an excellent product that performs as promised and lasts longer than conventional lubricants. With its easy-to-use tube for extended reach, it’s definitely worth the money. A must-buy!
