The only issue is the camera attached to the back of my jeep doesn’t stay on the proper tilt and there is nosey screw tool provided

First: I installed this on an old 1994 ford ranger with a shell. The supplied wires were enough to verify that the system would work for what we needed. I have 3 complaints: 1. The cables offered are only long enough for cars (and maybe a short van/short bed truck; as I have a standard bed on my truck, the cables were about 4 feet too short; so I had to purchase an extended cable for the backup camera. - would be awesome if there was a bundle that offered the ACC AND a longer cable for the backup cam instead of purchasing separately. (maybe with recommendations on vehicle types) 2. The backup camera does not come with a cable splicer for enabling the parking mode on the rear camera. So you'll have to figure that out yourself. 3. while driving at night, the headlights of cars can cause massive flare on the back camera; especially on the freeway, which leaves you guessing what car is where. I've mitigated this by using the OEM mirror's dimming feature. (Note: this probably won't work as well if you have an open top car/open moon roof) a. tap the button to turn the screen off b. flip the OEM mirror's dimming toggle so that it is pushed away from you (should cause the mirror to dip down compared to the other position) c. position the screen so that you can view the reflection of items behind you; like a normal mirror d. flip the OEM mirror's dimming toggle so that it is pulled toward you e. turn the screen back on; verify there are no reflective artifacts obstructing your ability to view the screen Doing it like this should reduce the reflections you see during the day/night as the screen would be pointed at the roof of your car where street lamp/sun light is less likely to be for when you're using the screen's video feed, and then you can flip the dimming feature of the mirror forward and turn off the screen to use it as a normal mirror at night on the freeway so you can see car's behind you better while still recording as normal. Aside from those two nit-picks, the system is great. The backup camera/mirror mode works fantastic. Even better than my 2020 honda civic's backup camera. And even though I installed the camera at the top of the inside of the Truck's shell behind glass. (Doing this makes vehicles behind you seem smaller/further away then they actually are; you'll see what appears to be a small truck through the camera, but will actually be a full size truck in your side mirrors) The ACC mode works as advertised as well. I had to do a bit of experimentation with the fuses to figure out ACC vs Bat+, but ended up going with fuses 4 and 5 in my truck, emergency blinkers and turn signals. I figured this out by testing those systems with the truck off and on. With the truck off, emergency blinkers work, turn signals don't. Both work with the truck on.

Only downside is you have to be quick to get into the setup at startup. Otherwise you need to shut it off to get to the main settings. Very nice quality.

Only reason for 4 stars is that the video instructions are for an already customized vehicle (jeep wrangler), and also only for one model year (JL vs JKU). Also, wish they included instructions for the reverse camera for a manual transmission.

So I rate it 4.5 stars. Would have gotten 5 if the camera that comes with it wasn’t subpar. Don’t get me wrong it works but quality is just ok. The mirror/screen itself is great!!!!! I have a Jeep with 38” tire on tire carrier blocking view, this solved issue 100%. Going to upgrade the rear view camera though in future.

1. nice color cam front and back detail enough 2. rear cam like fish eye nice wide but need some time to use to 3. if you need video , you will need to pick the SD card even you can look the video trough the mirror 4. no command voice to save video or picture when you needed

I had a family member steal one of my fog lamps and because of the hardwire kit, my camera was on although the vehicle was off and parked. The quality is great and the features are amazing!
