This “WOLFBOX X5 New 3 Channel 4K HDR Dash Cam, STARVIS 2 IMX678,4K+2.5K+1080P Front and Rear Inside Car Camera with 128GB Card, Voice Control, 5.8GHz WiFi GPS, Touch Screen, Digital Signal, Support 512GB” is basically everything you would want in a “dashcam”; you get 4K high resolution front, and relatively high resolution 2.5K for rear, and you get 1080P for inside the car (if you are doing uber/lyft or if you want to check on your teenage kids etc..). This unit even has built-in GPS, so locations/directions/speeds etc.. are all recorded. This unit also includes voice control and touch screen. This unit is not “always on” unless you wired it that way. It comes with a 128GB card which will support loop recording and already hold quite a bit as it is; while if you want more, you can get a 512GB card and stuff it in. All in all, this is a great dashcam, easy to use, feature packed, really all you want; the only issue is that it is definitely “not cheap”. Yet, you get what you pay for, and the price here is pretty fair, for what you are getting. Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Click to play video As a sports mom of two active boys and two spirited girls, my trusty Jeep is more than just a vehicle; it’s the command center of our daily chaos. Whether we’re rushing to basketball or volleyball practice, navigating carpool duties, or embarking on fun family road trips, having a dash cam like the WOLFBOX X5 is an absolute game-changer. First impressions matter, and the installation of this dash cam was a breeze! Honestly, it’s a relief to have a tech setup that doesn’t require a degree in engineering. Within minutes, I had it mounted, connected, and powered up. The sleek touch screen lit up, and I could immediately tell I was in for something special. The resolution is stunning, delivering 4K HDR quality that captures every detail — perfect for those moments I want to document, like my son’s latest slam dunk during practice. Now, being a busy mom means I’m often multitasking, and that’s where the voice control feature comes in clutch. Imagine driving down the road, the kids arguing over who gets the last snack, and me telling the dash cam, “Hey WOLFBOX, start recording!” It’s like having a third hand that I can easily command without taking my eyes off the road. This has definitely saved us from losing precious footage of unexpected moments. What really sets the X5 apart is its incredible 3-channel recording capability. I can record from the front, back, and inside simultaneously, which is particularly handy for capturing the antics happening in the back seat. It’s almost like I have my own reality show happening on wheels — complete with commentary from my kids! The inside camera is perfect for sharing those cherished memories, like when they share post-game stories filled with high fives and hot takes on plays. The 128GB memory card is a great starting point, but the kicker? It supports up to 512GB. That means my Jeep can document every single minute of our adventurous lives, whether it’s Friday night basketball games, weekend road trips, or the occasional car dance-off. Not having to erase old footage constantly is a major relief amid our active lifestyle. Ultimately, the X5 has brought an added layer of confidence to our family adventures. I wholeheartedly recommend it for other sports moms and families who want to capture life’s joyful (and chaotic) moments. It’s not just a dash cam; it’s the silent witness to our family’s journey — all the laughter, competitive spirit, and love that make our lives beautifully messy. If I could give it more stars, i definitely would! OKAAAAY!!! I wrote that beautiful review not too long ago after using it for a couple of months. Then all of a sudden, I’m sitting at the kids school for pickup, and I crank my car up and boom, nothing! The video shows for a few seconds then goes to a screen that says “power interface error”. I have zero clue why, because nothing has changed. No added chargers, cords, changing cords, nothing! The power is never disconnected except when my car is off. There is seriously no reason for this to happen. I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting options, even downloaded the manual on multiple devices so I can continue to try to fix this whenever I can. Still, nothing has changed. I am at a loss and very sad that this has happened.

I was very impressed with this camera the fact that it always was recording with a very large SD card. I was very impressed with the actual quality of the images, and as well as the content that it was producing for both the front and rear camera I wasn't able to attach the backup camera to my RV because the cable was not long enough, but I did reach out to the company and they did let me know that they wanted to create a longer cable for people who had RVs. The fact of the matter is this camera worked really great as a standalone dash cam and as the WebCam that you can get to view it through your phone, there were a lot of attachments to make sure I was able to attach it whichever way possible on my RV, and the content that it produced was very clean and crisp videos I wasn't even using the full 4K mode that I had which would take up more data so I just use the regular 2.7 K night mode came out really good as well it shown and recorded the inside of the RV as well as the outside while we were driving. I think it is an excellent dash cam to have that's built very well with premium products even down to the packaging box. This was my first time having a dash cam on my RV trip and after driving 9700 miles around the country I'm glad I did. I didn't get into any major accidents or issues, but I had a good camera that recorded anything that did happen in front of me and inside the RV with the loop recording that was available I didn't have to worry about running out of SD space as I believe it came with 128 gig card, which was a lot of material for at least a few days worth of just straight driving. I was able to plug it into my 12 V socket, which was not connected to the RV battery but rather the house battery so it was always on unless I shut it off. I didn't mind that for some days as it would monitor what would happen outside of my RV overall a very, very good product with premium glass premium packaging premium customer service as well. This is definitely a product. I could recommend to others just from my own experience of using it on my RV for a straight month and a half very very good.
