Surprisingly, it works great! Haven't had any troubles with it (besides it coming unplugged when my cats were hungry and nudged the plug out accidentally -they never feel full), and it's super convenient. The app is a must, so you can keep track of feedings and make sure they're getting their meals (or if not, call a friend to come over and check why not). I also love the ability to record my voice, control slow feeding feature (just put it slowest as possible, it's still pretty fast on the slowest), and it giving a consistent meal schedule even when I'm out of the house. My boy cat always acts famished, and it really helps him calm down knowing he'll get 3 consistent meals a day, even if they're smaller (he's overweight, and this has helped a lot with portioning). I give it 5/5 stars and my cats and I are happy with it! Now I only have to worry about refilling the water!

I purchased the non-wifi model because I'm sick of every product now using an app, we all have too much screen time nowadays. With that small rant over, the auto feeder is a solid product though it does come with one flaw - the power. It does come with a USB style plug in power wire, however the connection in the feeder itself is very loose so it takes a lot of wiggling and pushing to find the right spot to keep it turned on and powered. There is a design flaw in that the power insert is within the battery area so when the wire comes out it is forced at an angle creating a pressure on the insert and often shutting off the unit. Batteries are needed to keep the unit powered continuously, don't rely on the USB power supply.

This is my second WOPET feeder. The first one lasted a long time. The improvements made to the newer one are great. I like that the bowl is removable for cleaning. The size is good for my cat. It is quiet and dispenses food throughout the day. The food never clogs up in the dispenser. I like that the tub is clear so you can see when the food is getting low. The price is a very good value for the money. I would recommend this feeder.

Ridiculous product. Feeder won’t pair with the app, keeps saying the signal is too weak. So now, I have no way to program it to dispense food automatically. I am just pressing a button to manually dispense food each time, instead of having the feeder do it for me, defeating the entire purpose of an automatic feeder.

Click to play video The app is really intuitive and nice. You can add extra snacks and modify how much is dispensed. This can help with cats on diets. I set it and forgot until I’m reminded I have to refill. My cat, Gingi, already knows the call when food is dispensed. It doesn’t get stuck. In the video I wanted to see if it did but it keeps dispensing even when there’s kibble build up.
