Click to play video *Updated 3/5/16* Due to a stupid mistake I made back in the 90s, I got my eyebrows tattooed and over the years they have faded to practically nothing. Since the tattoos are higher than my natural eyebrows, I can't just grow them out because it would look like I have 2 sets of eyebrows. So I have to shave them off several times a week. Then when I put foundation on, they completely disappear and I look like an alien. So I have to draw them on daily with a colored pencil and I end up looking like a Chola. Not that there's anything wrong with that... However I am kind of an old school goth, so I just tell people that it's a "Goth thing". But since I am quite a bit older now, it is getting much harder to pull off. So I was browsing around the internet trying to find a natural looking eyebrow product and came across Wunderbrow and read the rave reviews. I have burgundy/violet hair and I ordered the brunette shade. Based on the reviews I expected this to be a little darker but it is actually a medium ashy kind of brown. It would be a very flattering shade for blondes or medium toned brunettes, but for me I think it was just a little too light. I then purchased the black/brown and it is perfect for me. The color is fairly sheer, so you will need a few coats if you want to make it darker. I created an updated video to show you some tips and tricks which has made the application process much easier for me. Several people were mentioning that they were having a hard time with the brush, but I found it to be very easy to use right out of the bottle. The brush is somewhat stiff but also a little flexible, kind of like a nail polish brush. It is flat on one side that you can use to paint on the heaviest part of your brow and then you can turn it sideways to use the narrow side on your arch and ends. But after using the product for several weeks, I discovered that if you cut the brush at an angle, it allows for more precise application. I just rest my elbow on the faucet which provides a steadier hand. Since I have no eyebrow hairs, I have no use for the mascara wand that comes with it, but you can use it to blend the product into your natural brows. If you mess up, you can use a wet q-tip to remove the goof, but you will have to do it quickly while the product is still wet. Once the product is dry, you can rub your fingers over brows and it will not come off. I would always be paranoid when using pencil because at the slightest touch, I would have a brown streak across my face and half of my eyebrow would go missing. How embarrassing is that?! You can even go to sleep with this product on your face and still wake up with eyebrows. I love that! But as soon as I used facial cleanser, a majority of the product washed off. So while it is probably waterproof in the rain and while swimming, as soon as you apply any type of cleanser and scrubbing action, the majority of it will probably come off. I also think it will not last as long if you apply it over moisturizer. Your skin should be clean and dry for best results. I also notice that when the product is dry, the finish is fairly matte and almost gives the appearance of hairs. So to recap, here are my tips for getting the best use out of the product for those of us with no eyebrows. Your results may vary! 1. Avoid any oil based moisturizer or foundation. The product works best on clean dry skin. 2. Cut the brush at an angle for a more precise application. 3. Rest your elbow on the faucet or other flat surface for a steadier hand. 4. Do the heaviest part of your brow first, followed by the tail, then meet at the arch. 5. Apply with light strokes. The product goes on a little sheer, so you can add more coats if necessary to achieve a darker look. 6. Keep some wet q-tips handy in case you goof but do it fast! Only works while the product is still wet. 7. Set the product with a light dusting of pressed or loose powder. In summary, I am really loving Wunderbrow. I definitely think it's more natural looking than pencil or anything else I have tried in the past. What do you think?

GREAT color and lasts FOREVER! Literally it doesn’t smudge AT ALL. I’ve worn this countless times swimming and it holds its shape and color well. I have to say though, it’s very hard to apply. I like my eyebrows to look natural, except darker and a more defined shape. This product has a weird paint brush thing attached to the handle inside the bottle and is IMPOSSIBLE to apply without looking like you just painted your eyebrows solid brown 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, it came with a separate brow brush which is great! Except you do NOT want to stick the brush into the bottle because you will get way too much product on it. Instead, paint a little bit of the brow gel onto the eyebrow brush with the paint brush on the end of the handle and voila. The problem with this though is the fact that the gel is waterproof and now you’re stuck with a gummy eyebrow brush 😑 I think it could have been designed much better with switchable applicators for applying the gel but I’ve figured out my own way to use it, so all in all I am happy with the results. I tried uploading a video of the brow gel on my arm and me scrubbing it underwater and it stayed perfectly intact, no flaking or smudging. However it won’t let me put videos on here for some reason, only pictures. So you’ll have to trust my word 😅

My brows went on vacay & left me looking weird. Your brows frame the face & I purchased every product imaginable, in the past 5 years, w/awful results. So, recommending this "Wunderbrow" is a wonder, meaning you'll wonder why you didn't find it sooner. Here's how I get amazing & several days of incredible results: Start with clean face or at least, brow area. 1. Shake tube well, then carefully remove the applicator brush, by wiping excess on inside of tube. When applicator end looks smooth & flattened, it's ready to apply. This ensures that glops on the brush, don't make you look even wierder. This stuff doesn't just wipe off - if you apply too much, use a dab Ponds Cold Cream to wipe off & start over - just remember to wash away the Ponds, as it is a bit too greasy. 2. Starting with inside portion of brows (closest to nose) very gently pat or wipe the Wonderbrow on that part of brow or skin. I use one stroke, from bottom to top. [shake & repeat for other side, when finished] 3. Use the included brush/spoolie to spread the product over whole eyebrow area (or in my case, what's left of them) from where just applied, gliding across brow area, above nosebridge to outer brow, or temple area. This can be repeated, but not always necessary. 4. I favor using (2) colors for greater flexibility & beautiful results. The lighter color goes on first. I brush the fresh product from nose to temples, before dries completely. It's art that you create. 5. If I want a more arched brow (so looks like botox brows) I'll repeat step 1 & carefully paint an arch, using only (2) strokes w/edge of flattened brush- one upward & one downward, creating the arch. 6. Brush the arch, and only the arch, for now. 7. The wonderbrow formula allows for "shaping" before completely drying, in about 2-3 minutes. 8. This step is the artistry. If you also purchased the darker color, shake, wipe excess till brush is flat, then very gently use the edge of the flattened brush & add little bits to the arch, which defines it, better. Use the opposite end of the included spoolie (the thin brush) to faintly pull some wonderbrow product to complete the "outer tail" of your brow. In no time, this will all be as easy-to-use as lipstick. 9. To complete your perfect brows, brush the brows in upward strokes. 10. Hint of perfection: ELF cosmetics has a superior brow palette. I also purchased the dark & medium/lighter palettes. What I love is the clear wax that is applied w/their brush & holds the shape of brows, like hair spray retains a hairdo. And, of course, the palettes are great for light touch-ups. There are (4) gradient colors in each palette. An excellent & cost effective solution, to wondering how you lived without this Wunder of a brow! 11. Enjoy your brows. They're waterproof, smudgeproof & sleep proof - but you didn't hear that from me ♡

I will never use another brow filler again, now that I have Wunderbrow. Pros: - The most natural looking brows you can hope to get. Unlike powders, that give off a very obvious filled-in look - this will look like you were simply born with perfect eyebrows. - The blonde is subtle shade. I found powder blondes deceiving, in that they look light in the makeup pot but still look too dark when applied. That is not the case here, you will get a very light brown / dark blonde result with Wunderbrow and it blends so nicely. - Long-wearing! My favourite part about this, is that I can go to sleep and they're still there in the morning so I don't have to rush to the bathroom to reapply when my boyfriend sleeps over (hahaha). Also, they'll stay on when wet (rain, swimming, etc.) / won't smudge or wipe away so long as you don't firmly scrub them off. I found I could apply one day for a fully filled in look, that would still last until evening of day 2 or morning of day 3. - Skin friendly. At least for me, I have not found any irritation and it does not cause me to breakout. Cons: - The applicator wand is too short. When you get down to the bottom of the applicator, the wand doesn't reach all the way so there's still a good amount of product going unused... which is frustrating because Wunderbrow is addictive. - The secondary brow/mascara brush will get gunky after a while if you don't clean it. Part of Wunderbrow's effectiveness is the little faux fibre hairs that are mixed into the product to actually fill your brows. So, if you don't clean the accompanying brow brush ever you will find it rendered useless if too much product builds up. These little mini-mascara wands are dirt cheap though and you can buy them in bulk if you simply must have them to brush out your brows after applying with the main wand. Not a dealbreaker. - Price. Ugh. It's worth it though if you're obsessed with brows like I am.
