I was really hoping for something quiet. I used to have a full size treadmill, and I HATED using it because it was SO LOUD. And yeah, you can wear headphones, but if you're sound-sensitive at all, the noise makes it unpleasant. I know that makes me sound pampered and fussy, but it is what it is. This treadmill is great. The speed choices are nice, I'm having no issues with slipping, it stores easily out of sight under my sofa, and there's no setup other than just plugging it in so it's super easy. Best of all, IT IS SO QUIET! It's a little heavy, but it's basically a treadmill so that's totally reasonable. Worth the money, in my opinion.

I am a heavier person and worried it might not work well due to this, or be low quality due to the low price. I am so glad I took the plunge and bought it! I love the low profile and the simple button design. I can just hop on and start it up. The slow start and stop feature is a great safety feature. I have a chronic illness and it is still very easy to pick up and roll around. I roll it into our guest room and lean it up behind the door. It tucks away better than I imagined! It’s super quiet too. You can watch tv without headphones. This is one piece of exercise equipment that won’t end up as a clothing rack for sure!

Most of my day is spent on Teams meetings. For those that I just listen in, I fully take advantage of the time and walk my way through the meeting. This treadmill is quiet and portable. I just set it near my desk and walk the hour away. It's been a great way to keep moving through an otherwise sedentary day. There is no setup and is easy to use. I highly recommend this treadmill for daily walking. The surface is smaller, so I would find it difficult to actually run on it, but for walking it's perfect.

Amazon CustomerReviewed in the United States on April 29, 2025

I just received this Hivvtui Walking Pad last night and set it up this morning. I did a trial run and discovered a few things: The manual is obviously translated from Chinese (it's made in China). Some of the wording had me wondering what they were really trying to say. It's a great mental workout! Even though the description says "miles," as in mph, it's preset to kilometers. There's nothing in the documentation on how to change it to miles, and Amazon Customer Chat (which appears to be automated - I have no idea how to talk to a real person) gave me the options of returning it or "no, I'm all set". So apparently there's no way to change it. I will probably put sticky notes on it with km/mile equivalents to see how fast/far I'm going in miles. By the way, I chose this one over one that my friend has and loves because it has Amazon Customer Service instead of service from a company that's just a string of letters. Hopefully, this was the extent of the help I'll need. The display toggles through the various readouts - calories, time, steps, distance, and speed. There's no way to quickly toggle to what you want to see - you just have to wait for it to go through the loop. It stays on each thing for 5 seconds, so it only takes about 30 seconds to come around again. But that also means that you can't "park" on any one display that you want to monitor. The remote is pretty basic: it has + and - for the speed, and a pause/play button. That's it. I found that, after pressing the pause/play button to slow the belt down to zero, holding it down for a few seconds will bring up "End," so that's how you finish your session and return everything to zero. That's not in the manual. There is also a large loop on the remote that will fit over the wrist, so you don't have to hold it or set it down while you're walking; you can carry weights or do deskwork or whatever you plan to do with your hands while walking. It comes with 2 button-style batteries, so that's nice that you don't have to go out and buy batteries right away. Most photos showed the walking pad being placed on a hard floor; I have carpet. I wasn't sure if it would drip oil or if the belt would rub against the carpet, so I purchased a vinyl tablecloth to put under it. I'll be monitoring things to see if it rubs. I may change to a lightweight board (thin plywood, for example). The power cord came with some white stuff on it that I can flake off. It doesn't seem to be hiding any imperfections, so I'm not sure what that's all about. The manual on-off switch is at the front of the motor housing unit, near the power cord connection. There's also a red button that's not mentioned in the manual. Maybe it's a factory reset? The underside has 6 feet (three per side) as well as a couple of metal bars, so I thinks it will be pretty sturdy and not sag. There must be a weight sensor for the step counter. I counted my steps and the readout was pretty close (within 1-2). When I stepped off and left the belt running, the step counter didn't go any higher (so, no cheating on your step count!). It really isn't too loud. I can watch TV without having to turn it up unduly loud. When I turned off the walking pad I wasn't blasted by the TV sound level, so I don't think that the neighbors won't be listening to my choice of programming. I plan to use this when I can't get out to do my regular walking loop with my friends. I think it will work just fine. I did buy the 2-year protection plan, since one photos showed some wear on the belt. I hope I'll never have to use it. But if I do, I'll update this review.

Exercising on this treadmill has quickly become part of my daily routine. I work from home and spend a lot of time at my desk, so I wanted a way to stay a little more active without stepping away from my work. This treadmill does exactly what I needed. Setup was fast — just take it out of the box, plug it in, and you’re good to go. It’s surprisingly quiet, which was one of my biggest concerns. I can walk during Zoom meetings or while on calls, and no one hears a thing. The motor is smooth, and even at higher speeds it doesn’t get loud or jerky. I usually keep it between 1.5 and 2.0 mph while typing, and it feels really stable the whole time. The LED display is easy to read, and the remote makes it simple to adjust the speed without having to stop. The 300lb weight capacity is a big plus too — it feels sturdy and well-built. It’s also easy to slide under the couch or stand up in the corner when I’m not using it, which is great for my office. Overall, this has made it much easier to add more movement into my day. If you work from home or spend a lot of time at a desk, I’d absolutely recommend it. It’s well made, easy to use, and makes a real difference in how I feel at the end of the day.

We’ve been wanting a walking pad and we’re so happy with this purchase. We love that it is so compact and it also comes with wheels so it is easy to move around to different rooms. It is so easy to use with the remote that it comes with. We also like that it is very quiet when it is in use.

Whats not to like? It’s slim but durable. No louder than a regular treadmill. Works great and i luv the hand remote. The wheels make it easy to move. The display show cal, distance, speed, time and number of steps. Worth every penny. Great easy to use walking pad. Highly recommend. Easy on the knees and hips. I had knee replacement and this so makes my life easier, especially in the winter.
