Not sure how they can sell this great kit at that price. Great quality, all the tool you need, good instructions. Removed a link in a watch band in about 5 minutes. Perfect for all those little pins you have to deal with. Highly recommended.

This affordable watch band kit allows me to easily remove links to adjust watch bracelets and to switch straps to get various looks from one time piece. This was my first watch band repair kit and it is super easy to use. Comes with extra pins and lug pins also.

A pin broke on my metal watch strap. A jeweler will charge $10-$15 to put a new pin in. This complete kit is very modestly priced and contains dozens of metal watch strap repair items and the tools for repairing the strap yourself. Excellent value for money.

This kit had everything I needed to remove and replace watch links easily. The link remover tool worked well, and the extra tips were useful in case one got worn out. The small hammer made it easier to tap out stubborn pins without damaging the band. The spring bar tool was strong and made switching bands quick and simple. The cotter pins were a nice addition for replacements. Everything felt sturdy and well-made. If you want a full set to adjust watch bands at home, this kit gets the job done.

I purchased a new Citizen Promaster Skyhawk A-T that I knew would require taking out two links to fit. A few years ago I had an earlier version of this same watch, and I remembered that not only would I have to go to the jewelers, but it would cost me $20! Amazon to the rescue! This is easily a $20+ dollar kit, with plenty of spare parts such as pins for the push-removal device (I bent one), and a few of the pin-taps for putting the pins back in. The little hammer is great, but it’s slippery to hold - I’d advise putting on one of today’s ubiquitous rubber gloves to hold it, but I digress ... Let me interject for Citizen Skyhawk owners that short of damaging the band, you’re not getting the pins out yourself without a specialized tool like this. And TAKE NOTE that at least this model of the Men’s watch has two-part pins — a straight little ‘rod,’ plus a little short collar that fits within the INNER part of a link as you join them. Be very careful not to lose the little collar. Yep - I lost one! 😂 Anyway, I got the kit yesterday, and as it was a little hectic (we were moving), I felt slightly rushed. I had earlier watched a few videos on YT using this device or one very similar, so I felt comfortable diving right in. I didn’t have too much trouble, removing the pins (make sure you “push” them out the correct way), but I did manage to bend one pusher pin and lose one little Citizen pin collar. Long story short I figured out what to do and soon had removed two links. Fit was a wee bit tight, but I prefer not to have my watches sliding all over the place. Fast forward to today, and after about 24 hours I decided that the band was indeed a skootch too tight. Looks like I’ll have to get the kit back out and put in another band ... groan. Surprisingly, I was not rushed, I was comfortable, and MADE SURE no itty bitty parts were slung off to orbit the sun. Added one link with very little trouble. My only nit isn’t to do with this device, but rather this kind of ‘operation’ deals with precision fittings on the higher-end watches, and they won’t ‘bend’ to your will. Be patient, have a clean and unobstructed work area, and if you think dealing with these little parts may stretch your patience (it almost did mine), save yourself the headache and just flippin’ go to a jeweler. You CAN do it, but I was cussing a little bit there initially when things weren’t going quite as smoothly for me as it did for the practiced hands in the YT videos! One last thing - if you remove multiple links, balance out the removals, i.e., one link from this side, one link from that side, etc. Best of luck!

I read another reviewer suggest that you're better off buying a higher quality tool set for this job and I agree, but the challenge is that the Amazon marketplace seems only to carry this quality, albeit in various permutations that include or exclude components. Since I couldn't find anything that looked appreciably better, I purchased this one and was able to make it work. On the upside: The band holder block works passably and the kit contained the proper size pin punch that let me drive/reinstall my band pins. On the downside: 1) the band holder is just an echo of all the others I saw on Amazon, which only includes one row with larger gaps for the thicker band I was working with. It would be better if this block would include a second, larger-gapped row to help hold the other side of the bracelet to keep it supported at the same height and aligned--it's awkward to do this while also holding a small pin in one hand and the hammer in the other. 2) The solder or epoxy or whatever that was holding the hammer head on the handle was loose so the head just spins on the handle. I was able to make it work, but again: low quality. 3) The replacement pins provided look more like a cotter or split pin, which is different than what is used in my watch band or any that I've ever seen. Thankfully, I was removing links and could reuse the ones from my bracelet. 4) My band had a tiny bushing around the pins that would have been easy to loose (I almost did). That would be a useful addition to this kit. 5) The other reviewers' comments that the pin pusher vise are correct in that there's not enough adjustment available in the base to support the band elements properly. I didn't use the tool because of this. It's interesting to me that seemingly all of the watch band tool sets on Amazon look the same...like exactly the same. They must all come off of the same line or are copies of the same design. This is unfortunate since there are glaring limitations inherent in the design that could be improved with a little diversity of thought and manufacturing. In the end you can make this work; it's better than nothing and it's cheap. That said, I would have gladly paid more for a better set if I could find it readily.

Great little tool set for general watch maintenance. Product quality is decent enough for working on your watch every now and then such as changing links or wristbands.

Viene con todo lo necesario para ajustar los brazaletes y cambiar correas o extensibles. Muy práctico y fácil de usar, removí eslabones del brazalete de un Orient sin mayor complicación. Sí lo recomiendo.

When I purchases a new Citizen watch I knew that I would have to adjust the band to fit my wrist. This tool kit served my needs very well. The tools provided in the kit are not professional grade but they certainly met my needs. Yes, the watch band holder, with the threaded height adjuster is somewhat flimsy but a cardboard shim (or two) is all that's needed to enable the holder to be functional. All of the other peripherals (pins and pin removers) are helpful and should allow the tool kit to be useful fro virtually all watch bands (and brands). Recommended.

So i was tired of spending 20 to 30 dollar every time to get the links added/removed, so decided to get this. I received it and saw few youtube videos and it worked like a charm. Removing and adding link became so easy and for the price it is a great value for money. It comes with so much stuff and so many different tools. I gave 4 stars because the screw tool which it came with was not very useful and is very wobbly. I only used hammer tool to add and remove links which worked amazingly. I would suggest anyone facing problem watch a youtube video to learn how exactly it is done and it will make it easy.
