Synopsis: This unit was purchased during the Black Friday Sale period. The system was perfectly packaged, it would have been difficult to damage the kit. I am using it in a house that has well water and a 3 20" filter system, no softener. I did not have an outlet under the sink and the hole for the dispenser faucet was a 1.5" hole. Chronological Event: And it all went well at install except the UV-C sterilizer light. It had a leak issue on the top port. Being that Waterdrop recommended that the unit be mounted close to the faucet it was very hard to handle the leak. I disconnected the hoses with a handy nylon brush that had a partial hang loop the size of the hose and fitting. It was a key that made disassembly easy versus struggling to push down with your fingers while trying to pull the hose at the same time. I called WD customer support and did not reach anyone at this time, so I left a message and my phone number (Saturday). So, after the second attempt at using the UV sanitizer and it was still leaking, so I took it apart (it unscrews) and tried to see if a seal was out of place. DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THIS...this is factory sealed, and I wrecked it by breaking a silicone seal and disconnecting the power leads. Since I broke the unit, I went and connected the main unit to the faucet...it worked fine less the UV-C sanitizing light. The faucet itself was about 1/16" larger than the hole and I was able to center it with no gap showing On Monday WD (Pieter) calls back and I was happening to be working from home. Pieter was trying to be helpful, and I explained the issue of the leak and how I broke the UV-C light trying to fix the leak. At first, he didn't understand that "I" broke the light trying to fix the leak. After explaining it again he understood and asked that I send a picture to him via email. I gave him my email and he sent a message at which point I found the broken unit (glad I did not throw it away, yet) and took a picture sending it to him. Next day, I got a message from Krystal saying a replacement unit was sent and was provided a tracking number. Wow...thank you very much and I thanked her. All she asked in return was for a "positive" Amazon review (so here it is!). I then had a thought about the new one and the potential for it to leak too. So, I sent another email asking why the unit had to be so close to the faucet and they replied: "Hi, Thank you for your valuable feedback. Our professional technical support team has reviewed your inquiry and suggests suspending the UV lamp in the air to prevent it from getting wet in case of moisture or leaks in the cabinet. It is advisable not to place the UV lamp directly on the ground. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us by replying to this email. Kind Regards Krystal Customer Service Rep" Well, simple...I am going to hang the unit under the sink (cable clips, adhesive...) after I flow test it and then when the unit needs to be serviced/replaced in the future, I will have easy access. So, after the initial issues and my damaging the UV-C unit...WD comes through and helps me out (over a few days)...thank you WD!

I had an issue with the faucet on my waterdrop and the customer service team quickly pinpointed the issue and sent me a new faucet. Other than this one issue the system has been fantastic and the water quality is very noticeable compared to the unfiltered tap water. I would absolutely recommend to anyone that wants a straightforward RO system that is easy to install and easy to upkeep and swap out filters. Thanks Doreen for your help!

Very good customer service. I purchased a home with water filter system that takes up too much cabinet space and I replaced this one after I moved in. My contractor said this is a good choice! This RO system is everything that is advertised. The Waterdrop G3P800 Reverse Osmosis System, arrived double boxed and very secure. Everything to install the system is included. The supplied water adapter is one of the nicest and easiest to use. Was a snap to install it between the cold water line and kitchen sink faucet. The PE tubing was easy to install and work with back to the unit. All are color coded. They also supply a tube cutter to cut your tubing. I had to rewire the Garbage Disposal to get an electrical box under our sink. (120+ year old home has its challenges.) Search for Garbage Disposal Wireless Switch Kit, Remote Control Outlet and the InSinkErator Garbage Disposal Power Cord Kit. These will be needed if you Garbage Disposal was direct wired and you are needing to convert it to a plug in that will work with the Waterdrop RO. I put a dual outlet box on the wire that was originally direct wired into the Disposal. The installation once you have an electric outlet is quite straight forward. Their instructions are easy to read and extremely accurate. They walk you through the whole installation process step by step and no issues. One of the big reasons that I purchased it was the way the filters twist in the unit. They are a breeze to put in, and will be very easy to change them when the need to be replaced. Only a quarter turn and they are securely installed or removed. I tested the old RO system that I was replacing and it was 73ppm. The new Waterdrop system shows 12ppm on the RO faucet and the main unit display, and when the water was tested with an independent tester it also showed 12ppm. Our tap water just for reference tests at 463ppm. The water flow is excellent and you can easily fill your water bottles, tea kettles, and pots for cooking with, very quickly. I had my Wife and the real water snob in the house, Oliver (one of our Standard Poodles) who will demand that you get him fresh water every time he wants a drink. They both love the taste of the water! Overall it is a great system and very easy to install. It is worth every bit of its cost. Updated 10-29-2024 This system is unbelievable, the best tasting water. We have bought a new refrigerator and have bought the Waterdrop Ice Maker Kit.. Everything you need is right there. Hooked up and had working in less than 30 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go get some 90 degree elbows for the 1/4 tubing. Takes longer to route the water line than the actual installation. The quality of the water has even improved. We find the unit back flushing quite often, to keep the system producing the best water. Shows between 6 and 9 ppm now. We will be installing another at my Wife's business as she loves the water taste. Our dogs now drink twice the water they use too... My friends with the same Water Drop RO systems have said the same thing... Their Dogs love the water... I feel it has been one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.

Me ha gustado la calidad del producto. No me ha gustado que lleve piezas que no son necesarias para hacer la instalación. Me dedico a poner estos aparatos y elementos como Teflon, corta tubos y alguna tontería más no hacen falta por qué no se gastan. Me sorprendió el tamaño de la caja es mucho más grande de los aparatos similares veo espacio innecesario. Vale que esté bien embalado pero sobra no hace falta mil cartones para un filtro. Otra cosa que no me gustó es el grifo que se da. Por ej el eje de atornillar era de plástico. Por lo que se paga lo veo muy barato. Aún que el plástico no era del todo malo. Pero no ponen ninguna erramienta de atornillar cómodo en un espacio pequeño. Si. Que luego el grifo no esté flojo en la mesa. Hay algunos fabricantes que incluyen un grifo de tres vías que permite hacer más cómodo la instalación y sobre todo ahorrar espacio en la mesa. También el grifoto de la alimentación es una locura no se a quien se le ocurrió coger un grifo de 1/2 luego pensó y dijo ostia si hay de 3/8 vamos a meter un modificador y con eso crearemos un bulto enorme como tenga problemas de tamaño entre tuberías no lo mete. Crea mucha longitud entre grifo y el punto donde el latiguillo del grifo puede doblarse. Si tienes espacio debajo del fregadero suficiente no pasa nada pero hay casas que los fontaneros de la obra se lucieron. En lo de más buen caudal de agua no tienes que esperar a que se llene. No genera pequeñas burbujas por lo menos al segundo día ya no lo hacía. La gente piensan que es mal funcionamiento de la máquina y no es así pero si no lo hace mejor. Como casi todos estos aparatos hacen ruido me encontré alguna instalación que tenía la bomba giratoria de engranajes como en los vehículos la bomba de aceite hace muchísimo menos ruido y no vibran pero bueno en este sí que lo hace. Todo esto compensa en calidad de agua mucho más suave los amantes del café lo entenderán. Mi mujer le gusta café y con el agua de Valencia no salía igual incluso si compras de botellas. Ahora dice que el sabor es mocho mejor. No soy de café así que transmito lo que se. Sobre instalación como cualquier otra máquina de mismas características tres tubos unos acoples a tubería y poco más.

Click to play video Jednostka filtrująca bardzo głośno pracuje (załączam film). Szczególnie irytujące jest to kiedy włącza się procedura samoczyszczenia (30-40s) a jest środek nocy ! Wylewka występuje jedynie w wersji z kranikiem po prawej stronie. Jestem leworęczny i przez to strasznie niewygodnie mi się z tego korzysta. Dlaczego nie można było zaprojektować kranika centralnie? (są takie na rynku). To jednak wszystko nic w porównaniu do trzeciego, największego problemu. Nie wiem czy to jakiś element mechaniczny czy same filtry ale po pewnym czasie użytkowania z urządzenia wydziela się intensywna i nieprzyjemna woń. Byłem przekonany, że to jakaś awaria rur kanalizacyjnych!

Fast delivery, easy to use, clear written & video instructions. One hose was missing to connect below the sterilizer but I managed to cut the one above it into 2 pieces. No leaks from any connections on first try. It reduced my tap water TDS from 250 to 4 and the TDS readings were exact as I cross check it independently with another device I have. Great device and highly recommend it. Only thing I couldn't make the garburator work at the same time, it stays on and have to disconnect manually, I'm buying the remote switch to have work independently of the filtration system.

I had some doubts in buying a 1000+ item and installing it myself, but it works perfectly so far. It's not a very easy task to install everything (I also bought an additional filters and a fridge mini-tank), so I had some professional help. The re-mineralization filter gives a nice/normal flavour to the water. The TDS is always staying between 4-7, good pressure all the time, not much noise (I have high-end/thick cabinets). Love it.

The unit is very good and the customer service is amazing!! My unit had an issue and Krystal resolved it quickly and made sure everything worked out 100%. super happy and thankful that the customer service team was so responsive.
