This showerhead from Waterpik is a midrange unit designed to work well with common shower caddies, which nestle over the water bib and often conflict with aftermarket sprayer heads. The idea is that this one has a bib that extends straight down, out of the way of your caddy, then the showerhead can dock into the front and angle upward at a smaller-than-usual angle, with a rotating head to accommodate whatever the geometry is of your particular shower. I like the general concept here! I've largely migrated away from shower caddies because of the annoyance factor and have swapped to one I mounted on my wall, but not everyone has that option and this is a great problem solver, especially if you're a renter who's limited in the modifications you can make. Construction wise, this is okay - good, not great. More of the parts are brushed-metal-looking-plastic than I expected, and while I don't have a problem with that (it keeps it all lightweight and probably makes it easier to keep clean), it was a bit of a surprise as other showerheads I've tried recently were all-metal. I really suspect this will last less long than other options and will eventually show its age. But, it's also priced fairly affordably compared to more premium options, so this is at least priced in. You get five different selectable spray options and a switch that lets you reduce flow while shaving, which is a nice touch for eco-friendliness. Installation is as easy as any other showerhead, and doesn't require any adhesive use in your shower. They do provide a little plumber's tape in the package, although I would have liked a few more windings of it as I tend to mess up a few pieces before I get it installed correctly... All in all this is probably a 4.5 star showerhead. I rounded up because I don't have any explicit complaints, but it's not something I'd describe as premium. It does deliver on the thoughtful design it promises for avoiding your shower caddy, though, and at the reasonable price I think it's overall a fair value proposition for what you receive.

This handheld shower head comes well packaged and with all the parts needed (there's only a few). I'm a 64 year old woman and I installed this myself with no help. It took longer to remove the old teflon tape from the threads on the shower pipe than it did to install the shower head. Once you get your old tape off of the shower pipe, it's a matter of screwing the fitting onto the pipe and attaching the hose. Very straightforward and easy. Unfortunately for me, because my shower pipe goes up towards the ceiling as you can see in the photos, this makes the handheld part almost out of my reach (I'm short). But if you have a 'normal' height shower pipe or aren't short this won't be an issue for you. I may get an extension to put on my shower pipe to bring it lower. As you can see in the photo the way the bracket is situated it definitely holds the hose out and away from the shower caddy. My previous hose was continually getting wound up in the caddy, sometimes even managing to get behind it, and it caused me aggravation every time I showered. This configuration prevents that. It also has good pressure, which I was skeptical of when I saw it was 1.8(?) gal/min. It has as much pressure as my old 2.1 gal handheld. Like others, you can adjust the head direction and it has a variety of settings - massage, etc. - and an easy to access button that you can slide to stop the water flow. The only 'con' I might say is that like everything else these days most of the parts are plastic, and the hose is shorter by a few inches than my old shower head. It's not an issue for me, but if if you want a long hose you may want to order one. I'd imagine most hoses have a standard fitting that would work on most shower head/hand held showers. I highly recommend this Waterpik Caddy Buddy if you have an issue with your hose getting all tied up in your shower caddy. It does what it is advertised to do.

I ordered this shower head to replace my handheld. It has a lot of great features. 1. The shower head has three rings of holes on the outer perimeter. The outer two rings are small and provide high pressure streams in the first setting. 2. The third (inner) ring of holes provides a softer flow of water but great volume in the third setting. 3. The middle setting provides a high pressure, invigorating massaging flow of water. The massage feature is the best I have seen in a handheld shower head. 4.One of my favorite features is the pivoting shower head on the handheld base. This allows you to angle the flow to meet your preference. This feature is awesome I awarded 5 stars because of the flow, great massage feature, and pivoting head. Even so, I would have liked to seen the three outer rings of holes and adjacent setting on the head. The head will allow you to split flow between two settings. But, with the massage setting between the other two, you are not able to use all three of the outer rings of holes concurrently. Obviously, this did not cause me to lower my rating.

Aside from this thing being basically entirely plastic, it works fine. Does exactly what it says it does. I wish the hose was a touch longer as I have a high mounted pipe coming out of the wall so it doesn't quite offer the coverage area I was hoping, but it is better than having a fixed shower head. Install was easy, doesn't leak on a hand tighten, and the water pressure is fine for the relatively low gallons per minute. Not great mind you but when you get into these really low flow showerheads there are very few that feel like they have a lot of pressure. Overall, it does what it says it does. Not sure about the price, you could probably get a non branded version of this for less, but this one is fine.
