Beats the heck outta dental floss. Plus if you have crowns on any of your teeth, it greatly reduces the likelihood that you'll pop one off when compared to using floss. I've probably had ten plus WaterPiks in my life. Every time the purchase pleases me. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

This is a replacement for the same model which finally gave out after many years of daily use. The reservoir holds plenty of water and the stream very strong at the highest setting but can easily be adjusted. You should know that it is very loud in operation but I find it to be an excellent flosser. So, five stars.

This works really well. I love that it holds enough water for me to finish my teeth without constant refilling. Having the smaller container for specific things is awesome. It’s easy to clean. I had the one before that had a lid and an off button on the handheld piece so that’s taking no a lot of getting used to

I love this flosser. This the second one that I have purchased after trying two other brands.

I love this waterpik. It has a lot of power if you slide the lever on the handle all-the-way up. However, you can even clean your ears with it if you slide the power on the handle all-the-way to the bottom and direct the water flow on the sides of the ear canal. (I am NOT a doctor, this is NOT a suggested thing to do with your ears, and it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY if you try it). However, if you find that you have wax that just won't come out - and it is blocking your entire ear canal so that you can't hear? This can break up that wax and get it out. There are actual systems to do the exact same thing using this exact same unit, out there, and even doctors suggest one use one of these for this purpose. If your ears are already clear, you don't need to use this - of course. Other things that you can use this for... cleaning out wounds. If you just fell and have a dirt-filled scrape? Again, turn the setting to 'lowest' and start pressure-spraying out the wound. It will remove every last trace of dirt and won't get infected. Afterwards, dry the wound and apply an antibiotic unguent. Again... I AM NOT A DOCTOR, THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. Consult a doctor before following these instructions. And, if you do try it - you do it at your own peril. However, I have done this with cuts and abrastions I have gotten while at the filthy Salt River (Hundreds of wild Horses poop in the river all the time). Even cuts which have begun to fester... I have used this waterpik to remove the still-remaining dirt with great success. As for use on your gums. It is the ONLY thing to use once you get caps. You MUST use a floss waterpik once you get caps in-order that you remove all debris from underneath and in-between your caps. These tend to last about 7 - 8 years if you use them twice-per-day. Generally the plastic tube kinks, creating cracks... or the pump just wears out. The plastic pump, pumping for minutes at a time for years does it. Sometimes one of the piks will break off inside the hole. Bend a paperclip with a pair of needle-nosed pliers into a sharp turn that is about 1/8 in long and at about a 45 degree angle so that it can still fit into the tiny hole. You might have to bend it flatter until it fits through the hole. Then, with the rest of the paperclip bent at a 90 degree angle, hold the lever which normally allows you to remove the tip and pull. It will pop out and you can, then, keep using your Waterpik the way you always have in the past. As long as WaterPik keeps manufacturing this WaterPik. it will keep buying it (realize that this has been around so long, by now, that it takes a different tip than the newer WaterPiks use. So, make sure when you are purchasing tips for it that they say, specifically, that they are for the WP-72 WaterPik, not the newer ones.

Purchased 11/23/2024. Stopped working March 2025. My other old waterpik lasted years and years! Ugh! It either will not turn on OR if it does, no water comes out even though hose vibrates and makes sound. Amended 4/4/2025, just do not buy a "Waterpik"...this was $79.73 with tax. I went with Waterpik because my other one lasted years. I emailed Waterpik, they have responded...with questions: Answers are mine. How often do you use this unit per week or per day? Twice a day minimum. Does the pause button on the handle feel stuck at all, or does it click in and out properly? I have not noticed this to be honest. I now wonder. Have you ever cleaned the unit? If so, what was used to clean it and how often is it cleaned? Cleaned weekly, wash with warm water and dish detergent. Do you use any additives in the reservoir besides water? If so, what do you use? No, water only. Have you tried a new, unused tip in the handle since this issue occurred? Yes, used every tip I have from old waterpik to what came with this new one. Please provide a receipt or order invoice for your original purchase. Screen shot. Amazon. I do not remember it being this price. if that's the case, now, I'm really upset. Attached actual downloaded Amazon receipt. That is actually what I paid. UGH! Now, new instructions on what they need:Typically if the water flow is intermittent to this degree, it may be the pause button on the handle. I would like to try some troubleshooting to see if we can return functionality to your pause button: Remove the tip from the top of the handle. Fill up a cup or glass with a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and warm water. Place the handle in the solution and allow it to soak for 15-30 minutes. Rinse the handle under warm water and attempt to use the unit as normal. Press in the pause button a few times to see if this affects the water flow. C'mon, replace my $80.00 Waterpik.

Not impressed so returning. Has 3 nozzles to choose from even though slots for 4, can't control water on pik easily or shut it off on this handheld device. My friend looked at it & couldn't believe Waterpik put their name on it.
