I purchased this battery operated WaterPik 5 months ago and it works great! The pulsating water gets food particles out of those hidden areas that brushing cannot possibly get out. It has 2 speeds of which I always use on high because there's more force behind the water pulse action which will help to remove any stubbornly stuck particles. I always brush my teeth first using an electric tooth brush, then I use the WaterPik. And every time I use it I always see more food particles fall into the sink, which means the WaterPik is cleaning where the tooth brush can't. This alone makes me very glad I purchased the WaterPik. The water container holds enough water for about 30 seconds of use, but it's very easy to quickly refill it. The unit came with 2 identical flosser tips which are easily exchanged when needed. Also there are a multitude of other tips available, I purchased a separate variety pack of 8 tip styles on Amazon. Battery life is not the greatest but that's easily overcome by using rechargeable batteries (I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries). The battery drainage is not really noticeable, i.e., the water pulses gradually become less powerful over time but you don't notice the gradual decrease. After about 2 weeks you can finally notice a decrease in power. It's really noticeable when you change the batteries after 2 weeks, after which you feel more powerful water pulses once again. Therefore because of this, I simply recharge the batteries every week to maintain powerful water pulses. The battery compartment is very tight (with rubber gasket) and not easily opened or closed. The tightness is expected in order to maintain a water free compartment to prevent short circuit damage. Nevertheless since I change the batteries often it has gotten easier over time. Additionally the clear plastic water container can be removed for cleaning. This is how it worked for me. Push it downward towards the bottom of the unit and it will slide off. When re-installing it push hard to get the rubber gasket at the top to seal properly. There is a plastic clip on the back of the water container and a mating clip on the WaterPik body and they need to mate with each other when installing, therefore push hard when re-installing. Lastly the cordless battery operation makes this unit very portable and easy to use, and to take with you on travel. I'm very happy with this purchase and I do recommend it to others.

Arrived on time and well packaged, exactly as advertised, holds enough water for a complete cleaning if you use it regularly, fairly easy to refill and love that its not heavy at all or difficult to hold, and that it takes up virtually no space on the counter compared to other ones. It does use up the batteries in about two or three weeks, you'll notice the pressure isn't as strong as with fresh batteries, so I'd recommend buying rechargeable batteries along with it. It does take some getting used to but I got the hang of it on the first few uses, my gums did bleed a little the first few times too but I was already expecting that from the other reviews that mentioned it, you get used to it and it doesn't hurt, and it does an awesome job at removing bits and pieces that the toothbrush just doesn't and getting dental floss to reach all the way in the back just isn't as easy, it makes a big difference in our oral hygiene routine. Overall I'm very happy with it and wish I had bought it a long time ago, hope this helps if youre on the fence like I was!

I don't entirely know how I should review this. It works, and that should not be a surprise since this is the name brand. It is one of the cheapest options for a water flosser at about $30 and a good option if you want to try one out for the first time. Mine also stopped working (temporarily) after 1 year and 9 months. I don't know if the quality or the design of the internals is the real issue. It was a decent run for the price, but the name brand shouldn't suddenly fail like that. I think my ultimate issue was that the rotating arm you can see in the picture wiggled out of place, making it appear to be broken because it could not turn on. It worked again after reassembly, so it remains to be seen how long the internals will last. They look to be pretty good quality. For anyone else who had theirs stop working after a year or two, this should be fixable by just prying off the power slider (preferably with something plastic so you don't scratch it) and rotating/pressing the crank piece back into place. Make sure any flying plastic pieces don't get lost. If that doesn't do it, you will have to carefully cut through the weld at the bottom of the device and remove the slider and mouthpiece before sliding the internals out. A youtuber called TanakaBeat made a video showing how to do it for a similar model. The pros: Cheap, potentially good for travel, works fairly well, lasted nearly 2 years so far The cons: bad design so that it stops working after a year or two (until fixed), difficult to disassemble to fix their bad design

Happy with purchase. Dentist recommended a water pik. I use it in the shower since I tend to spray myself a lot with the waterpik! So far, it has held up very well. I put a small ring of Vaseline around the battery case ring to protect the batteries as recommended in the directions. A Qtip helped that process. It gives a gentle enough stream on low for about 30 seconds. Enough to make three-four trips around the inside of my mouth!

This tool is brilliant! I’ve flossed my teeth more in the few weeks since I got it than I do in a year. It’s so gentle and the tank is just the right size once you get practiced. I use it in the shower with warm water so it doesn’t bother my sensitive teeth. Bonus: great for blasting dirt from under your nails after gardening (contact free, don’t worry!)

Am not the type that floss, this helps on top of the brushing with electric toothbrush. However initially will some bleeding on gums the first time. Subsequent use had no bleed

Realmente ajuda a remover placas bacterianas. Os dentes ficam mais limpos.Contudo, deve-se continuar fazendo uso do fio dental a fim de tornar a limpeza ainda mais completa.
