The ultimate compliment for a novel in this genre: the characters felt like friends and I was sad to see them go. This is a delightful, authentic read and a most welcome departure from an endless deluge of fantasy, suspense, and darkly depressing historical fiction lately. Well done!

JoJo Moyes can be entertaining if you're in the mood and I was in the mood for We All Live Here. I've read other books by Moyes and enjoyed them so this one didn't disappoint. The story flows along nicely and takes us to a conclusion we can live with.

I am a fan of this author, having read Someone Else’s Shoes and enjoying it, so I began this book expecting to like it, and I did! It follows the lives of Lila, her daughters, and an entire cast of supporting characters. And told from different viewpoints, which is a format I like. The ups and downs of life post divorce, life with teens, work, extended family, limited finances, and told with humor and compassion.

It was a lovely book about a crazy family. A nice read but nothing extraordinary. Not sure what else I can say.

When I started reading this I wasn't sure if I would like it. I enjoyed the author's last two books, though, so I kept reading and finished the book, and I liked it much better after about first 1/3 of it. Normally I am not a big fan of "family" stories, but this one is different and kept my interest. It would make a funny "odd couple" sort of movie.

What a lovely story. I was sad when I finished the book, because the characters were so real and well depicted. The story is about the inner workings of a family. There were many people: parents, children, and friends. I felt I really knew them. What a gift JoJo Moyes has in developing her characters. There are nuances throughout the story that made everyone and everything seem real. She is so perceptive. I wanted to stay in that world and escape my reality. No wonder her books are readers’ favorites. I cannot be more enthusiastic. This is the second book I have read by her and certainly will not be the last.

I enjoyed this so much. Life is messy, we do all make mistakes. I could really relate to the main character. No one was perfect but they were real and likable. I couldn’t put it down!

A good read but not one of her best in my opinion. I have read all of her books.

It doesn’t seem possible that yet another Jojo Moyes book is better than the last as I always think that, with a few exceptions. But this really is brilliant. I ‘heard’ and felt for and with the characters. They’re real particularly in this book with its family setting and there were truly laugh out loud passages - fortunately I wasn’t on the tube with tears running down my face reading about the school play. Please keep them coming Jojo.

Lila was a weak and unlikeable character. I couldn’t even finish the book.
