Not the greatest. They do not hold in any position and will snap back due to springs.

This Etour [Super Stable] Webcam Stand, Camera Mount [2022 Upgraded Clip] 27 inch Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand is better made than I expected. The finish is well done, I couldn't find any sharp edges, and the adjustments are easy to do, without having to fiddle. It makes using a webcam easy. Of course, a webcam is very light, so I tried mounting a small Nikon camera that I have. It weighs 15.3 ounces with batteries, and the stand held it just fine, although I had to clamp down pretty hard on the ball mount, and I wouldn't put anything heavier on this stand. The stand came with 4 hook & loop stripes so you can attach the webcam's cord without having it hanging and getting in the way. The ball mount has standard 1/4x20 camera mount threads, but the mount attaches to the stand itself with different threads, so you can't attach your webcam directly without using the ball mount. It's not a big deal, but something to be aware of. The ball mount has a thumbscrew for tightening, and opposite that is a small Allen screw. The screw in mine was loose, and screwing it in made it fall inside the mount. The only reason I can see for the screw is to keep the mount from separating if you unscrew the thumbscrew too far. It might have been intended to keep the internal part of the mount from rotating, but that would take a longer screw. I took the mount apart, retrieved the screw, and put a dab of rubber cement on it to keep it from going anywhere. On the internal part of the mount is a channel, and when I reassembled the mount I made sense to make sure the end of the thumbscrew engaged the channel, and the mount now seems to tighten more firmly and evenly. So, if you're mechanically inclined, you may have to fiddle with the mount to make it work its best, although I have to admit that it worked reasonably well before fiddling. But then, most webcams are so light it won't make a lot of difference. The only other thing is the base mount. It's well made and quite sturdy, but it only accommodates a horizontal table, and I have a desk that has a vertical edge that would be a perfect place for a webcam, if the mount worked on a vertical surface. Still, there's enough metal in the mount that I could probably drill it out and make work.

Gives you the ability to add a camera to a desk arm. You can move it around and position it however you want. I use this with a bendable stick so I can look at parts in detail while well lit. Also works well for overhead video.
