I just gave my 4 month old puppy his 1st one of these treats I just ordered for him and at 1st he licked it and then didn’t know what to do with the treat because he doesn’t have all his teeth in yet. He started to bite on it and ate his 1st one and fell in love! My puppy 1st love is the Wellness treats! My puppy loves Wellness Treats! I also love it too because it’s so healthy for our little pups!

He’s 3.5 years old but still prefers soft treats over crunchy ones lol. I like that I can tear these up and get 3-4 pieces out of one so my dog thinks he’s getting more than he actually is lol. We always keep these stocked in our house and will continue to do so!

My dog loves these treats, they’ve quickly become a staple in our routine. They're clearly high-value, because my girlfriend’s cats actually climbed the fridge to get into the bag. Safe to say they’re a hit across species.

These treats are a hit with my puppy! They're soft, making them easy to break into smaller pieces for training sessions. The lamb and salmon flavor seems to be a favorite, and I appreciate that they're grain-free and made with quality ingredients like chickpeas, sweet potatoes, and blueberries. The smell is appealing to my pup without being overpowering to me. At 6 calories per treat, they're a guilt-free reward that supports healthy development. Highly recommend for any puppy owner looking for nutritious and tasty training treats.

They are soft treats, I have a 8 week old puppy she is so small. She looks forward to one after she goes outside.

My dog loved the flavor but these really are not for dogs without teeth as suggested. The squares are not soft but more like the consistency of foam rubber. I had to cut the squares into 4 pieces so my dog wouldn’t choke on them. They were also pricey.

In puppy training there are 4 grades of treats. 1. RECALL - The very best treat reward ... because a recall *must* work to save a nasty incident so tends to be fresh chicken or ham or cheese 2. Training - When you want to reward new and good behaviour in the early days 3. Standard treats that are there for normal trained behaviours like checking in or mat training 4. Low value ... dog will often turn his nose up. These fall between the 2-3 level. Puppy likes them and will work for them but soon becomes bored

My australian shepherd found these difficult to chew-- and he has a strong bite. This made them impossible to use during training because he would choke on them as he tried to complete an exercise.

When I cut these up, hard translucent shards of what look like….glass/ seashells/ bones fall out. Has anyone received a response from Wellness about what these are? Is it safe for my puppy to consume?

My puppy LOVES these treats, so I do too. They smell really good and the ingredients are excellent (first ingredient is lamb!). Also, they are soft so they're easy for him to eat, making rewarding him a little easier. I have crunchy cookie treats at home and they are better for keeping him busy since he has to sit down and actively eat them, but that's not so great when I want to reward him instantly. Of all the soft treats we've tried (including Zuke's minis, which we also love!), these are the softest and easiest for puppy to eat. They're also perforated so I can split them in half or even in quarters. My Willow is a 10-pound chihuahua puppy, so a quarter of a treat is definitely still a decent sized treat. I've been able to stretch a bag of these a lot further thanks to this. And as long as you make sure to seal it (it is resealable), they don't dry out or get crumbly.
