Super simple. You put DVD’s in it and it plays. Sound quality isn’t great but is fine when it plays through the trailers speakers. I would recommend a small sound bar to go with it. None of the “smart” tv stuff to deal with. The 720p is enough resolution for DVD’s, you don’t notice any picture degradation. It’s super light weight too. Works great.

I should subtract a star for the lousy sound quality, but I'm too pleased with this tv to quibble. The picture quality is excellent. This is my kitchen tv, and it's perfect for that. I love having the DVD player included. I use a digital antenna to receive the many broadcast channels available. I hooked up my VCR to it so I can watch my old tapes, and I also added a Fire Stick so I can watch streaming services. I don't miss the clunky ancient CRT TV this one replaces!

Below is my first review of the TV/DVD player. Here is my final review. It is nothing but a piece of junk that will be another item to add to our already full landfill. It won't work. The DVD player began to have a grinding noise, pause in the middle of movies, eject the DVD in the middle of a movie, to name a few things. I called the Westinghouse tech support 7/24 line. They told me to reset back to factory settings???? And to try this and call back. Of course, it didn't work. I even let the support agent listen to the grinding. I called back the second time on 11/2/2023. She started telling me she would put me on hold and talk to someone. I told her to give me an address to send it back or a refund. She then said it would be an e-mail from the company to give me those instructions. Got the e-mail and they want proof of purchase, picture of TV front view, picture of back view, picture of serial numbers and model number, mail or fax to them. They then will take another 45 days to process my claim. Never again will I buy a TV from Westinghouse. I gave this TV a great review when I first got it but it was more for the service from the company I bought it from but it seemed like a great TV for the price since I only wanted the built-in DVD player for my grandkids. Guess I got in a hurry to give a good review, lesson learned. Almost four months later the DVD player won't work at all. I contacted the seller but unfortunately the three month warranty through them had expired. Now I have to contact Westinghouse. This was a plain TV with no internet abilities etc. but it was not built well at all. The DVD player gets stuck and won't move on with the movie, it skips around when it does. It will not respond to anything when the DVD player is in a hung up mode. It is not the DVDs as I have lots of brand new DVDs and it reacts the same way on all of them so I will now have to contact the company and see what they will do about this issue. I am not happy about this at all. It should have at least lasted a year. I bought it in June and today is Sept 25 so barely three months since I bought i

THE TV WORK WELL ON FIRST TRY. IT WAS EASY TO SET UP. PUTTING THE FEET ON IT WAS A CHORE DUE TO THE SMALL SCREWS WHICH WERE DEFICULT TO SCREW IN. BUT SETUP WAS A BREEZE. IT IS USED WITH AN ANTENNA AND PICKS UP ALL LOCAL CHANNEL VERY WELL. SOUND IS A LITTLE TINNY BUT GOOD ENOUGH TO NOT HAVE A PROLEM UNDERSTANDING IT.EXCELENT PICTURE AND COLOR. EASY TO CHANGE FROM TV TO DVD PLAYER. OVERALL A DECENT TV.

I bought this TV specifically because it has a DVD player included into its circuitry. It was easy to set up and light weight. It required two screws (included) to attach each foot, which I used a tweezer to set into place before using a phelps screwdriver (not included) to screw them in. You have to aim the remote to the TV's right lower side in order for it to pick up the signal. As soon as I plugged the TV in, it started the set-up menu. I didn't connect it to cable or the internet, so I can't comment on installation. I only wanted it for DVDs. Once I located the DVD buttons on the remote, I had no problems playing DVDs. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This TV has decent picture for the price paid, included DVD player is a bonus for those of us that have our favorite movies on disk. HOWEVER!!!, the sound quality is absolutely awful. They sound like they’re in a tin can. Tried all the different settings in the audio section, and nothing makes much of a difference, and I didn't see where I could add an external speaker, but I may need to research that option more. The TV is light and easy to move around, and was packaged well so no worries about damage in transit. I have it hooked to Apple TV, so I use a different remote, so I can't comment on that. Only other issue I have is with the feet, and that not the TVs fault. My old TV had an optional pedestal, and feet in the box. and the pedestal worked better than the feet for the spot I have it in, when I put it at an angle in the corner, the feet want to slip off the edges, the pedestal would have been more stable in my corner. I didn't realize all tv's didn't come with both options since the last couple TVs I bought had both in the box. But that's on me for not reading better.

Mostly for the dvd the ease of using same remote and not having to switch machines. When we go camping we can take it with us and use in the RV. It has quality picture, I love the functionality, it was a good choice I got value for my money. Very easy to set up and get connected. I love it!!
