I have curly hair that tends to snarl easily. I use this brush on my dry hair before I get into the shower. It makes for much easier brushing after the shower. This is silly but I also bought my golden doodle dog her own brush to keep her hair from matting. It works great on her too!

I enjoyed how affordable this hairbrush was. I've been using wet brushes since I was a kid and with sensory issues/ low pain tolerance it is a good hairbrush. It is not only affordable, but it doesn't hurt your hair like some other hair brushes. You can use this on wet or dry hair and I try and clean it once a week or every other week because of the buildup of styling products. Overall, I don't notice much of a difference compared to the wet original detangling brush on my hair. THe only difference is the bristles are thicker so it detangles quicker.

Let me just start by saying I swear by Wet brush(es) and have for +5 years now. I have never owned a brush that didn't get caught in my fine hair until I got my first Wet brush and now I have 6 of them; one for the car, one for the purse, brushes at peoples houses.. What I've noticed is that it seems to be more forgiving than most brushes. It's stiff, but not enough to stay put and get stuck when caught on a snarl. Even when you come across tangles, you just work the brush over them a few times and they're out, without pulling hair. (I've even brought mine to the salon because any other brush pulls my hair.) The beads on the ends of the bristles have stayed put for years, so I haven't had an issue with them scraping my scalp. They aren't bulky, they come in cute designs, they work well whether my hair is wet or dry.. overall this brush has exceeded any other brush I've had. I recommend to anyone, especially those with sensitive scalps that struggle with the pain of getting their hair pulled.

I've been using WET brushes for years. I have long curly hair and this brush goes through without pulling my hair or starting from the ends of the hair and working towards the head. easy, no pull, no pain.

My daughters and I love this wet brush! My oldest daughter has very thick long hair and finds it so much easier to brush out her hair after washing it without feeling like you're ripping out hair. It works just as good on dry hair too. These brushes are pretty sturdy as well, they've lasted for well over 3 years so far without bristles coming out or breaking.

I thought the low-quality pixelated jpeg image was just one one they happened to upload online for the listing, but nope...They actually used a low-quality image, resulting in a less than ideal print on the handle. I expected more from this well-known brand, when 300 DPI is standard in printing. The first attached photo can be seen on the brush if you zoom in and compare it with my hand. As for the brush itself, the handle is slightly translucent, but not much. If I hold it to the light, I can barely see a dark shadow of my finger through the lighter areas, but it's mostly opaque. You can see it in my 2nd attached photo holding it up to the window. Don't expect any pretty strained glass look; just a pale imitation at best. And since it's plastic, it's going to get scratched/beat up with use...I used it once, and after setting it down, it already has some dings and scratches. but that's to be expected. I have this same issue with all Wetbrushes in general, but I wish the handle was longer. Although the small size does make it better for travel or have in the handbag, or keep at my cluttered bed side table. I still prefer the square paddle shaped version for regular use which I have in my bathroom; even if the handle isn't quite to my liking, it's still slightly better than this one. I paid just shy of less than $10 for this, but with the LQ pixelated jpeg they used, I feel like this should have been half that price. It's almost insulting bad and low effort. If it weren't for that, then the full $10 would be worth it. Anything more than $10, and you're paying for the brand name and/or inflation. Overall, it was cheap and good enough to keep, since the pixelation is only seen up close in my hand. 4/5 stars for mainly being functional and feeling better to use than other brands. Would recommend.
