Great book my daughter loved it so did my son in law as I bought the dad one for him too. It’s beautiful to read and I’m happy they read to my grandson just about every day. The illustrations are wonderful all in all it’s a great gift for the new mum .

This book is one in an extended collection that you can purchase individually. Very nice for a mom & son bonding moment. This is something for mom to read to baby or younger child while they are sitting together in a quiet moment. It's not really the type of thing you'd want to let a toddler "read" by themselves - the pages are fairly thick stock and decent quality but they would tear easily if pulled at too hard. Nice illustrations of a variety of animal mothers and sons sharing little minor life lessons written in sweet prose. We got this to include in a baby shower gift basket for a first time mom - she loved it! BOTTOM LINE: Good quality, very giftable. Recommended.

I was SO impressed by this book! A mom will understand it and love to read it to them and her children will love it and also understand it some day! This is for my great grandchildren. I’m an avid reader as also their mom is and she has 3 boys so hope they will be some day!
