I gave my 12 yr old niece this CD set for Christmas. She LOVES it and listens to it all the time...and she hasn’t even seen the play!

My wife and daughter had seen Wicked as a birthday present, and they loved the performance. I purchased this CD set (2 discs) as a follow-up gift for my wife, so she could continue to enjoy/relive the music and story. When the CDs arrived, we promptly loaded them into iTunes on our computer, so they could be enjoyed without having to fuss with the discs. Upon doing so, we found that only the very first song's title was represented in English.... and all the others were in Chinese? Well, the CD contains a booklet with the titles and lyrics to all of the included songs, so we were able to edit the English language titles back into iTunes. It only took about 5 minutes to correct this issue, but is the reason for rating the product with 4 stars, rather than 5.

Gift for my daughter's 13th birthday (accompanied by tickets to see the show) - if her reaction and the number of times it has been played since are any indication, we'll give it a 5. (Side Note: The show exceeded my expectations by far - I can't even imagine having seen the original cast!)

This is our very favorite Broadway show, and my 7-year-old daughter just BEGGED for the soundtrack! She loves it & listens to it daily. It is a perfect reminder of our experience watching it live. She has every song memorized, and we never get tired of hearing it!

bought this the day of release. it arrived on time and plays well ! unfortunately disc 1 hasn't been cut to shape , so there is that excess trim around it.
it plays normal , theres just that constant scratching sound from where the edge is scraping along the arm stand. this isn't at all amazon's fault ! the second disc has been cut to shape so no issues there , but overall i'm happy with my purchase !
( if you see this comment please don't have second thoughts about buying this item. i have over 50 records and this is the first time i've had an uncut record 😂 i'd say theres 1 out of 5 percent chance this will happen to you haha )

I've always loved the soundtrack to Wicked. It's the first musical I ever watched when I was a kid and I'll never forget that experience! Very happy they got the original cast for the recording.
