In true Pigeon style, The Pigeon’s graduation day has arrived and he is FREAKING. OUT. MAN. Just as The Pigeon showed serious trepidation leading up to attending school, he’s now very nervous about graduation and what happens next.
I’m thrilled that it’s out just as my youngest preps for her preschool graduation. My kids all love Mo Willems and crowded around me to read this one as soon as we had a chance to do so. Fair warning: grab a tissue if you cry easily!
It’s a Pigeon book. There’s no grand long story. It’s a slice-of-life book about trusting that you’ve done the work and can continue to do so. It fulfills that promise to the reader well.

This book is so sweet! I purchased it for our school library and the kindergarten teachers and 5th grade teachers are planning on reading it to their students at their graduations. I don't know why the other reviewer said elementary students won't get anything out of it...it will foster a lot of conversation about overcoming obstacles, facing the unknown, being brave, finding out who you are and learning to fly. It's an instant classic in my opinion, and as the mother of a rising senior it made me tear up!

Thank you for this book! It is not just a children's book; it is a book for anyone who is struggling with any attachments, either these attachments to degree or other formats of "success."

The 10th installment in the Pigeon book follows our favorite overreacting bird as he walks across the stage to get his diploma. Definitely cute, definitely finale vibes. But how can one miss out on a Mo Willems book?!

Disappointed - there's no actual story to this, just a bunch of "what will the future hold" type questions. Nothing like the previous pigeon stories. Feels like a cash grab to me.

Total disappointment. Elementary kids would get nothing out of this book. A shameless effort to get adults to buy this as a graduation gift rather than "The places you will go!". Might be appropriate for a high school special education class but noone else.
