These jackets are very thick and weighted . Perfect for cooler weather . I don’t think they would do good in the cold cold . Yes the material is thick, but not thick enough for that . I got the dark brown and light brown and black . The dark brown isn’t nearly as dark as the photo shows . But that’s okay ! I’m 5’6 - 136 lbs I ordered small first and they fit pretty well but the arms were too short . Got the medium size, and the sleeves are a good length and I feel like the waist is the same as the small so it’s a win . It goes down to my knees (it looks nice) . Pockets are a great size not super deep, not shallow either . It does come with a slight smell, but not super potent like other things I’ve ordered . Maybe 1 wash it’ll come out, or even a round of a refreshing laundry spray . ** photo reference is just to show the dark brown isn’t that dark, it’s still pretty light . If you want an in between kinda color of the photo of dark and the light brown . 🙃

This is a great coat, just bear in mind it’s a substantial weight and size. This is definitely NOT small or packable (it’s not the kind of coat you can just throw in your bag, or the type you’d “bring just in case” if it means you have to carry it all day. That said it looks great and could go from work to weekend, no problem. Throw it in w jeans and look effortlessly together but also be warm. Great value and great coat.

I love this coat! It arrives a little wrinkly, but a quick steam will set it to rights. It's not too heavy and not too thin. It's comfy to throw on over joggers to do errands and it's nice enough to wear with a dressier outfit. As someone with a wool allergy, I like the fabric as well. It gives the look of a warm wool coat without the itch.

I'm about 5 feet tall and this coat comes down to my calves. It's also very warm and I like how the tie belt both looks good and helps to keep me warm. I love the color and the softness of the fabric. The inside is lined with a satin of the same color. The arm length is perfect if I roll up the sleeves once, which was exactly the look I was going for with this. Additionally there's pockets!

Have you ever been so unsure about an order when you placed it and it exceeded your expectations? That was this coat for me. It is thicker than I expected it to be, which makes it the perfect fall coat. It looks good with or without the belt. Although I love having the option to tie it closed if it gets colder when I'm out for the night. It held up to my international trip. I shoved it in a suitcase multiple times, wore it while walking around the city, and carried it a lot when it got too warm to wear it. As long as I hung it up at night it wasn't too wrinkled the next day. BE WARNED: I am 5'4" and it is a very long coat on me. I like the length, but I know some people like their long coats to be a little shorter than this. I would buy this coat again.

There are not many review for those of us that are a little shorter. Being short I have long legs for my height, so I thought the length may work. The length personally made me feel like a little girl trying on my mom’s clothes. The coat was nice and I am disappointed it did not fit right for me.

From the product images I thought “brown” would be too dark, so I ordered “light brown” which turned out to be very yellow under-toned and a bit too light/unsaturated appearing for me. Ordered brown and it was exactly what I was hoping for - a medium neutral, camel-leaning brown. Comparison shot shows brown on the left and light brown on the right. I’m 5’4”, 125lbs, and a small fits perfect with room for a light/medium thickness sweater underneath. I’m 34C and can close it all the way, but larger busts might feel a smidge tight. Sleeves are a good length and overall length hits just below knee. The belt is a good thickness to stay tied and lay nicely. Warm enough for winter in the south and love that it’s lined all the way through. This is a win - will be ordering in black and burgundy.

Clearly not the same product that others have received as it has no lining. This makes it more of a medium to weight weight coat. Fabric is a bit stiff. Ordered a M, typically a size S. There is plenty of room for bulky clothing, the sleeves are borderline too large around and it has a baggy fit.

I do love this coat. I find though that the facing turns outward, making it not hang well. I am having to tack it down to the inside. I received this coat today. I love it. It is sophisticated and flattering. I ordered black, after previously ordering a grey one and returning it. It had a bluish tinge to it and was totally the wrong colour for me. In reading reviews some people mentioned it looking like a housecoat. Certain colours might look that way, but not the black. The tie belt might also make it look like a housecoat, though again not the black one. but I plan on wearing it open with a long classy burgundy turtleneck sweater.

This coat is well-made with great material, but unfortunately, the fit didn’t work for me. The open-front design is stylish, and the belt adds a nice touch, but it just didn’t sit right on my frame. If the fit works for you, it’s a great piece. Sadly, it’s not quite what I was hoping for.
