For years, I’ve relied on disposable cans of spray foam for various construction projects, not giving much thought to alternatives. I suppose I never considered the environmental impact or cost-effectiveness of switching to a foam gun. That was until I came across the Y'allCanDiy PU Foam Gun Set, and now I’m sold on this method for good. Although disposable cans have their place for small, one-time jobs, this foam gun system has proven to be far superior for medium to large-scale projects. The beauty of this set is that it’s simple to use. There’s no steep learning curve or complicated setup. The system includes the foam gun itself, a set of nitrile gloves, safety glasses, and nozzles. The gloves and safety glasses are a thoughtful inclusion, especially considering how sticky the foam can be. If you’re like me and have spent too many hours trying to remove foam from your hands, you’ll appreciate this added safety. The foam sticks to everything, so wearing the gloves is an absolute must. And, of course, the safety glasses are important for protecting your eyes from any potential splashes, though I didn’t have any issues with the foam going awry when used properly. As for the gun itself, it’s very straightforward. It works like a charm once you’ve attached it to the foam canisters, and I quickly realized just how much easier it is to control the application compared to using disposable cans. The nozzle provides more precision, so you can get into tighter spaces and apply foam where you need it most without creating a mess. The added benefit is that the gun is reusable, meaning you won’t have to keep buying new cans of foam for every project. This makes it a far more cost-effective and environmentally friendly option in the long run. One of the most important aspects of using the foam gun is the cleaning process, and I’d recommend taking the time to clean it thoroughly after each use. The gun is designed for ease of use, offering a comfortable grip and being compact enough to reach into confined spaces. The reducing nozzles are especially useful for accessing narrow gaps. The gun allows the user to finely control the flow of foam, thus making your foam sealing job much better than the typical DIY disposable foam cans with the plastic trigger. The trigger feels firm and high quality with no play or slop. The most important thing with any foam gun is to use the canned foam cleaner and to run some through it before the foam dries inside the gun. The included safety glasses and gloves are a nice bonus touch.

This works and has an adjustable nozzle. Just have the clean out handy or this will become a clogged mess in less than 60s.

The gun itself is pretty good. The extra nozzles and plugs are a must. The glasses and latex gloves are overkill. The most important to remember is to make sure you clean the gun after each can of foam. Instructions say to clean after use, but the foam dries too quick and you have to clean it often. The gun fits well in your hand and is small enough to get into smaller places. The reducing nozzles really allow you to get into those narrow cracks. I used this gun for about 2 hours while closing off my vents to my crawl space and had to disassemble it twice to clean it because I tried to use more than one can of foam before running cleaner through it. Lesson learned and pulling it apart was easy but getting dried foam out of a tube is not.
