This lense work well but tends to eat batteries. Especially if you work after dark. so keep a supply

I got one of these as a replacement for my welding helmet. Works fine. Great drop in replacement. I haven't had any problems with it. The solar bit seems a little bit wonky, but overall, I've had no problem. I don't need it to do all the fancy stuff.

Not a good purchase for me honestly. The lens is too thick to fit properly in the fibre-metal pipeliner hood. Which sucks. And it's not even close to real color HD or whatever they are trying to call it. Would not recommend this lens to my fellow brothers/sisters of the hood. Stay away from this one

I purchased the YESWELDER LY200J for use in my company provided Fibre-Metal tigerhood welding helmet. I need a new autodark after the old non-replaceable battery unit failed after 3 years of service. Unfortunately the LY200J is too thick and will not fit in to the lense holder of a tigerhood. So I purchased another welding hood from TOPDC that would allow for thicker autodark lenses. I still had to shave down the lense retainer to allow it to fit. Finally got to use it and what do you know I get flashed and it flickers until you turn towards a light source because the batteries are almost completely dead. Not a good start for the LY200J auto dark lense very disappointing. I will update after replacing batteries and getting some welding time with it.

It's YesWelder... it's better than most of the no name versions all over Amazon. The only disappointment for me is, I thought it would be more true color than it is. It's still a little green. If you're used to the new blue-ish Lincoln or Miller stuff, this ain't that. But it's still decent quality.
