I like the way it looks! It is plastic, but it feels durable enough and I thought it looked like metal in the photos, and I'm happy with it. Assembly was easy, it was the perfect height for my patio. Hoping I can keep these plants alive!

My review: put together in about 30 minutes (after reading instructions thoroughly). Super easy. No tools needed but a rubber hammer comes in handy. It is a 7” dirt reservoir with a 2.5” water trough under a perforated drain plate. There is a water spout with float to let you know when to add more. A side plug to pull out to drain when it rains and fills too much. I think I will leave the plug out for now because we get a lot of rain here. But that could be useful if away and dry spell. Two of the wheels have locks to prevent rolling when desired. I had to put small boards under them because it was sinking into the yard. Very sturdy. I put a metal arbor over mine to support climbing vegetables. I am buying another to grow herbs in. Very pleased.

Good assembly but less sturdy. Would require balancing the pots if hung.

After purchasing one as a patio backdrop, I went and ordered a second. Well built and good looking! Love that it’s on wheels and easy to move seasonally.

I’m an older gardener, not feeble by any means , but these things are like some form of Asian torture devices!! It comes with 1000 little tiny screw to put it together. Ok so I had to spend two days getting all these screws in. The part they don’t tell you is to make these these $&@“/$( screws work you have to bend the panels!! Oh and let’s not forget it’s a TWO person job!! That’s not mentioned either. Next time I want raised beds I’ll head to Lowe’s for tin and 2x4s!!

I purchased the two count, 4 ft x 8 ft planter boxes in black. This would be a 5-star product if the holes were in the correct place OR if the appropriate amount of screws were included (and the instructions corrected). I'm giving it 3-stars because: it was easy to assemble and it looks really nice, but I shouldn't have to improvise to build and then also buy extra screws for a kit that costs almost $100. Short review: I was able to put the boxes together "correctly" but had to use the screws differently than the instructions suggested and will need to purchase a few more longer screws to complete the boxes. It was easy to put together once I figured out the issue, which is ridiculous for how much this kit costs. They look great once they are put together and seem sturdy enough. They come with stakes to attach them to the ground. Looks like it's going to work great and hold a lot of plants. Longer review: First, either the side panels weren't manufactured correctly (the holes drilled in the incorrect spots) OR the instructions and screw quantity are wrong. I don't know. But like someone else said, to assemble these boxes like the instructions say, you'd have to put the panels together with the inside (matte side with the seams) facing out--making it ugly. Nope. So, I laid everything out where it was supposed to go, looked at the screws it came with. I realized I could use some of the shorter screws where the instructions say to use the long screws (in the middle seams), so that I could use the long screws for some of the corner holes (I'll add photos to show you what I'm talking about). The boxes are easy to assemble. They look great. (I still need to add the rubber edging on them). But personally, I don't know if would recommend these specific boxes. Side note: These are really big boxes so think about how you're going to fill them before buying. I've used cardboard, old tree limbs, leaves, and compost to help get them started. I'm also getting dirt from a landscaping company to finish filling them. You'll pay hundreds of dollars if you used bagged soil from a garden store.
