Easy to use. Water does sit at the bottom, ice maker doesnt seem to use it all to make ice. Aside from that, works quick enough to produce a good amount of ice. Nice size nuggets. Easy on the eyes, quiet enough and very durable.

This ice maker works great. Very quiet, doesn't vibrate, doesn't move across the counter (rubber feet on the bottom). We wish that the machine would BEEP when the basket inside is full of cubes, and you need to empty it. The FULL light turns RED and lets you know you need to empty it, but I feel like we have to keep babysitting the machine and sticking around the kitchen to check for that RED light. If it beeped like a coffeemaker, it would be great. The manual (several pages; actually a "leaflet"), answers the general questions, but not all questions you could possibly have. There is no company phone # on the leaflet either, so who would you call? I'm assuming that this is why others have bought the name brand ice makers (Frigidaire, for example), since you can actually call them with questions about any of their products. This is not a machine that you can just "set and go", where you can set it up for cubes and leave to work, for example. This is not a crockpot. The machine makes 9 ice cubes each cycle, and I believe there are 4 cycles to a "full basket of cubes" = 36 cubes. The cubes are cylinder-shaped, not square or round. Once the 36 cubes are in the basket, the red light says "full", and you empty the basket. At that point, you can either go for more cubes, or turn off the machine. Our question was: if you're not around to empty that basket right away, how long does it take until all the cubes have melted? This is why we're saying, this isn't a machine to be left alone. You gotta hang around, in other words.

This is a life saver for me at work! I am a snacker, but the ice really keeps me from snacking (yes, chewing ice is bad for your teeth). The ice is soft enough to chew and it doesn’t take long for it to make. The auto sensor works well too. Con: it is a bit noisy. I have it in my office, so I can definitely hear when it is trying to make some ice.

Received the ice maker, unboxed and left to settle on my counter for 5 hours. (directions only state 1 hour) Followed directions to clean and set it up, put water in it and turned it on. Ran it for 2 hours- never made 1 ice cube and the rods where the ice cube forms never got cold. Apparently it has no refridgerant?!?! Super disapointed as I had debated on several different ice makers to get and picked this one based on its good reviews. Returing for a refund as I went the next day and spent a great deal more but the new one I got actually worked. Should have done that in the first place and saved time.

Imagino que funciona simplemente por un flujo fuerte de aire a unos metales que conducen bien el frío, pero si el aire ambiente de tu casa es muy caliente (40 grados), tarda una media hora por ronda. Además de que realmente no tiene sistema de refrigerado de los hielos ya hechos, y —por lo menos en mi caso— se derriten relativamente rápido por el calor, por lo que se hacen una y otra vez, pero definitivamente no lo permito por el tremendo calor que hace, que no se puede vivir ya sin uno de estos cuando pasas de los 40 grados y todavía no es verano. Valoren este calorcito, que va a ser la primavera más fría del resto de nuestras vidas. 🫡 Por el resto, está excelente 👌
