These appear to be well constructed boots, and a key feature for longevity is the sewn on sole. However, I was able to literally depress most lugs on the front part of the sole tread so that they were concave. This means that either the interior of the sole is extremely soft or else it's hollow. Either way, it's likely an intentional cost savings design, and the result is less protection when stepping on sharp objects and reduced sole life. I also bought a pair of CAT boots in a similar design (albeit more expensive) and I couldn't budge the lugs on that sole. Other than that, the Yelang boot looks good. I bought my normal size 9 and my toes were a bit confined compared to other size 9 steel toe boots, so I tried 9-1/2 and the fit was more comfortable. These are heavy boots, and with the exception of the sole, are well designed with rugged materials.

Worst boots ever. They fall apart after only 3 months! And this is after I already sent a pair back because the last pair fell apart. I know the prices looks good, but take my advice. Don’t do it.

At first I liked these boots. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box. They were a bit larger than I was expecting so I'd order at least half a size down from your normal. They were also a little stiff at the top of the ankle and required extra socks for a couple weeks to keep from rubbing my skin raw in one particular spot, but once that was broken in they were fine. I work in a warehouse in maintenance so they have been put to the test and they were holding up pretty well. And, I guess the technically still are. But about a week ago I started feeling a weird popping under the ball of one foot. Now it's almost constant and it's loud enough to hear. I can't see an actual break anywhere and, so far, my feet have stayed dry, but it feels like something inside the sole broke. And it bends more freely than the other boot. Right now it's mostly just annoying. I'm always wondering if I just stepped on something. But considering I've only had them for a couple of months, I'm not convinced these are going to last long.
