Since moving to the NC mountains, I have encountered a variety of bugs/flying insects that I have never had a problem with before. I started seeing tiny flying insects that one might think were fruit flies, but they appeared before even having food in the house, since it was a newly built home. They kept coming and coming and I was at my wits end with trying to eliminate them. I tried vinegar and water, along with other fruit fly traps that didn't barely make a dent in catching them. Then I started seeing them throughout the home, and in places where there weren't any food items after moving in. They even bothered me in my home office! I went to the extent of having a plumber come out to ensure they weren't drain flies and were told they weren't, and had pest control spray several times in and outside the home. I couldn't prep food without them coming around, I would see them flying across my bedroom at night, and they appeared on my bathroom mirror! Enough was enough! So, I decided to try these Zevo fly traps! And let me tell you, they started catching them quickly! Easy to set up and assemble. I just popped one of the sticky traps into the cartridge and plugged into several outlets throughout the home in places where I saw them the most. The trap itself is super sticky so once the flies get stuck, there is no going back! The plug-in cartridge is somewhat big and if plugging into the top outlet, you still have space to plug something into the outlet below it, like a regular plug(lamp/vacuum) but nothing overly big. It has a blue light glow that attracts all sorts of flies, including gnats and moths. I have found that on darker painted walls the blue light still glows, just not as bright as it does on lighter colored walls. With fly and gnat season into full swing, my pest control guy told me to go ahead and get them plugged in to start catching them early. So, I loaded up on these and have many throughout the home, and especially in areas I see them the most. While they are a little more expensive than other brands or fly traps, I feel these are worth every penny due to its effectiveness. I am hoping I am ahead of the game with getting them set up early so I can enjoy having food or a beverage without having to fish out these tiny little critters! Side note: plug them into areas you see them the most, and/or around plants. Check within a few days and if they aren't catching anything move them and try a new spot! First three photos are when I plugged them in after moving into our home last year in July, and you will see the volume it caught in ONE night. The last few are of me plugging them in now, trying to stay ahead of the game.

The Zevo Flying Insect Trap has completely eliminated my persistent fruit fly problem! After trying countless DIY solutions with limited success, this plug-in trap delivered immediate results. Setup couldn't be simpler - just plug it in and insert the cartridge. The blue light effectively attracts flying pests, and the sticky cartridge traps them without any chemicals or odors. I placed mine in the kitchen near my fruit bowl, and within 24 hours, I noticed a significant reduction in fruit flies. What I appreciate most is how discreet it is - the small profile blends into any room, and there's no buzzing or zapping sounds. The blue light is gentle enough not to disturb sleep if used in bedrooms. Each cartridge lasts about a month before needing replacement, making this an economical solution compared to constantly buying sprays or other temporary fixes. Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, or any area prone to gnats and fruit flies!

Catches flies but very little. This traps works best in a dark room cold room. That will help the trap attract the flies. I still see flies around the house with this trap. Also don’t place near a window, it can attract more insects into the house.

I know how helpful pictures are for believability, so I’ll attach one! Don’t judge me, I had no idea what these were for the first couples of weeks. So yes they overran my house for a bit. But that is no longer! We are now free from the clutches of these nasty little 💩’s. I recently moved to Florida, and never in my life had I experienced so many (what I thought were gnats - I’m still unsure what the hell they actually are 😂). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out where the swarms of these pesky little things were coming from. I am originally from up north, where the only things that resemble them that we get are fruit flies. I couldn’t figure out why they were everywhere when none of my fruit was rotten or even remotely bad. Until I did some googling and found out these little demons are called Drain Flies. They live and breed in your drain, lay eggs and come out in SWARMS. I tried every remedy to kill them off. I cleaned my drains, I poured all kinds of chemicals down there. I googled every which way to kill their eggs, catch them. Tried the whole apple cider vinegar, water and soap trick. Where the apple cider vinegar is supposed to attract them, and the surface tension of the soap is supposed to get them stuck and they sink into the water below….noooope! Nothing worked. I’d still see them flying all over the place in my peripheral vision, and to top it off I now had a nasty little vinegar cup hidden in my corner smelling like dooky. I, like every other rational person, ran to Amazon for a solution. And I found LOTS of them. My first go to was going to be that light and fan thing, where the light attracts them and the fan supposedly sucks them in to their demise. I really didn’t care which one I purchased, as long as it worked. I saw the reviews and pictures of this one and figured I’d give it a go, and if this one didn’t work, I’d try the other one I mentioned. Day 1, the first few hours, it caught absolutely nothing. And I thought “greaaat. This thing isn’t going to catch anything and I’m gong to have to deal with this pests for another few days while I wait on another order” Day 2. I woke up, not expecting to find anything, and lo and behold, there were 10-15 flies on it. My prayers had been answered! Day 3. Not going to lie, I forgot I had it plugged in Day 4. I checked again, and this is what I found. The picture attached. Absolutely gross 🤢. Don’t ask, I have no idea how all these nasty little creatures lived in my sink without my knowledge. I must just be that blissfully unaware. I thought I only had a few…clearly I was wrong I’m on like Day 10 now. I waited awhile because I wanted to make sure it continued to work before posting this review. I haven’t seen another fly / gnat besides in the trap, since Day 4, nearly a week ago. Not one. However, the trap is still lit up, and still as sticky as it was on day 1. There is a faint blue glow, it’s a pretty pleasant. It’s just like a night light. It makes 0 noise whatsoever. It’s SO easy to remove and replace the sticky pad. You pull the stick piece up out of the part that attaches into the wall, and slide a new one in. So simple, yet so effective. If you’ve had these nasty little critters flying around your home for far too long now, try it. You won’t regret it. If it doesn’t work in the first spot you put it, move it around. These things supposedly come out of the drains, yet for some reason it catches far more in my bedroom outside the bathroom. So find what works for you. Also, it turns sideways if need be. So if you have a sideways plug, you can still plug it in and swivel it so it’s face up! I hope this review helps some of you choose this, and rid your life of these nasty little buggers!!

Love love love these. Last summer was the first year we used them. You would never guess how much it catches until you look in there. They make no noise, the light attracts the flies to the super sticky paper. It caught so many fruit flies and house flies. They were a little expensive but I think very worth it.

It will catch some, but majority will be flying around it. Waste of money.

Me encanta! Atrapa los mosquitos sin necesidad de molestos insecticidas. Altamente recomendable. Quiza lo único que podría mejorar es en que la trampa quedase abajo del enchufe. Pero es una excelente inversión.

It has been more than a day since we plugged in. We left it on in the night with other lights switched off. The area has a lot of fruit flies but it has not caught even a single one.
