My very floppy eared beagle flipped over her ear and to my horror it was torn up; red, swollen & very irritated. She obviously had an infection and had been scratching at it. I felt terrible I didn’t notice it sooner. I bought the zymox otic because it’s a cleaner and treatment all in one and has hydrocortisone which I knew she needed badly to bring down the swelling from scratching at it. The medicine is a clear watery gel, something I wasn’t expecting. I thought it would just be liquid. The gel works great though because it suspends in place so you can really get to every little fold and crevice inside the dogs ear. I started with the outside of the ear cleaning as I went with cotton balls. Once I had all the little pieces of scab cleaned up I went for the ear canal. It says to fill the ear canal with medicine and then wipe away. I filled it and then massaged the ear to make sure it went deep enough. I then tilted the dogs head the other direction and let it drain out and wipe wipe wipe. The next morning was a big difference!! It was looking a lot better. I was still nervous though what if it didn’t work. When we woke up the 3rd morning I checked her ear and it looked so good I had to do a double take to make sure I had the right ear. I can’t recommend this medicine enough. We are continuing treat. It says 7-14 days but looking at these results I think a week will be plenty. I just wanted to leave this review to help other dog and cat parents. This medicine treats fungal and bacterial infections using 3 types of enzymes so you are good to go using this either way. I highly recommend! Worth every penny! Update* after reading some of the 1 star reviews I just wanted to add that it is always best to have your animal evaluated by a veterinarian. Some animals may need an antibiotics to treat an ear infection and this treatment may not be enough. Also if you see that your animal is suffering from any adverse reactions it is best to stop the medicine and have them evaluated medically immediately. Just like with humans, some medicines can have side effects that can be severe. Not all medicines work for everybody or everything 100% of the time. People and animals alike can be allergic to certain ingredients. It is best to closely monitor your animal whenever they are taking a new medication whether prescribed by a vet or bought over the counter and even when it’s something as simple as a topical medication. This medication worked great for my pet but I do check my dogs ears weekly because she’s a floppy eared breed. More than likely I caught the infection very early when she was symptomatic for only a couple of days. This may have contributed to how successful the results were for my dog. On day 4 now and all symptoms are gone, however I will continue to monitor the ear for up to 4 weeks to make sure the infection doesn’t reoccur. I’m very sorry to the pet owners who had adverse reactions to this medicine and that you didn’t share the same experience myself and many others had with this efficacy of how well this product worked. Your reviews are the reason that I felt it necessary to remind people that medical intervention first is always best.

I RARELY write reviews but as a dog mom I want to help anyone looking for a solution to help their fur babies without breaking the budget. This product works within minutes to relieve symptoms and then clears the infection before the 7 days of treatment (although I always finish the 7 days). If you’re in the fence, it’s worth it! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I recommend this to all my friends and family.

So far, these eardrops are performing exactly as described. My dog had been shaking her head, scratching warm, pink, smelly ears and was miserable. Administering these drops for only a few days has made a dramatic improvement! The bottle is a nice, comfortable size that is easy to grasp and squeeze, and there's an ever so slight thickness to the product that makes application spot on. I have finally found a product that actually works! These eardrops will be a permanent fixture in our dog's grooming/hygiene maintenance routine!! This product works well. You see a noticeable improvement after 1 treatment. I took one star off because it’s pricey for a tiny bottle.

I seen improvement on day two with my dogs ear. Her ears randomly have gotten really irritated, red and goopy. I tried one cleans that didn't help anything but her smell. This product does not have a scent but it doesn't really matter since it seems to get rid if her itchiness and goop really quick and easy. It's a pricy little bottle but the formula is thick so it sticks well. It's also easier for her to tolerate since it doesn't squirt into her ear canal, instead slowly drips until it's rubbed in. I've had this product for a little while now and can confirm I've only had two use it three times. First two days and a couple weeks later and haven't had to use it since.

Let me just start by saying, I rarely write reviews, but hope this helps someone buy it! I wasn’t sure at first if this would even work. This product is amazing. Well worth the money. My kitty did not quite enjoy the ear drops, but they helped get him back to normal almost immediately. They’re fast acting, and helped solve the problem super fast. He was experiencing some mild wobbliness, had black gunk in his ear, and was shaking his head and scratching a lot which was very concerning to me, so I brought this product since I figured he probably had an ear infection. I wasn’t sure if it would work and was ready to take him to the vet, but within minutes his behavior changed. He wasn’t as wobbly or scratchy and within just a few days, his ears cleared up!! I highly recommend this product as I even have more left over! Best Buy of the year! I would spend as much as needed to save my baby, but this was such a cheap fix :). If your cat is feeling like this definitely try this product! My angel is back to normal now thanks to this :)

This ear solution for dogs works well. The added hydrocortisone relieves itching, too. This was received a day early, so delivery was very fast. The price is quite reasonable.

It works miraculously .. my fur-baby is 12 years old and he was suffering from inflamatory and painful ear conditions with yellowish discharge sometimes for over almost six months. I consulted many vets and they only used to prescribe antibiotics which I did not like .. the effect of Zymox is just amazing .. his ear condition improved since the first day of use only and I am posting this review after an use of over 3 months ... I am totally impressed and Zymox is indeed a saviour...

This product is the only one that works for our dog’s ear infection and sourcing it is a challenge as it’s not available in Australia. We’ve started getting it from Amazon now, and we are very pleased that we can get it, and quickly too!

This stuff is hard to find, expensive and worth the time and money to have some on hand. Better than most prescribed ear treatments because it settles the sore ears right down and doesn’t sting or irritate the dog. Hate being without it.

I used to order this from amazon.com. I am so glad I found this on amazon.in. Its a life save for cats. Have been using it on both my cats since they were kittens. It always succeeds in eradicating even the most severe ear infections. The medications that vets prescribe is always useless. But this product is just an essential for my cats! Love it!
