I've had this filament for many months now and never noticed any issues. So far I haven't noticed any stringing or warping or brittleness, even though it hasn't been stored super great. I really like this grey color, it makes me thing of a "modern grey" or a "clean grey". I am, however, a little confused about if it's high speed filament or not. It's not listed as a high speed filament but I saw somewhere in the description or something that it is high speed. I tested whether it was or not by using it in my bambu lab p1s on ludicrous speed- and it works fine. Not sure if it works any better than the average pla that's not marketed as high speed. Still a great budget pla to buy- it feels high end for sure

I’ve been experimenting with different filaments lately, and I have to say—the SUNLU PLA+ in Sunny Orange has seriously impressed me. The color is gorgeous—bright, bold, and perfect for making prints pop. I recently used it (along with the black version) to print an AMS riser and plate holder, and they came out looking super clean and vibrant. What really stood out to me, though, is how strong and sturdy this filament feels. Compared to standard PLA, this stuff has noticeably better durability, which is a huge plus when you're printing functional parts or anything that needs to take a bit of wear and tear. Printing with it was smooth sailing. It fed through my printer without a hitch—no clogs, no tangles, just reliable results. The dimensional accuracy is spot on, even with detailed prints. I found the sweet spot to be around 205–215°C for the nozzle and 50–60°C for the bed, which gave me great layer adhesion and a really nice surface finish. All in all, this filament checks all the boxes—amazing color, strong prints, and hassle-free printing. It’s definitely earned a permanent spot in my filament lineup. If you’re looking for something that looks great and performs even better, give this one a shot!

Numerous spools used, zero issues, prints great, no tangles, no moisture issues, AMAZING VALUE. if eSun raises the price from 11.99, then it may not be worth using this over other brands. As of now this is an amazing value for amazing filament.

I have used a lot of brands of filament and have had a few that were tough to print with. This stuff was horrible! I was trying to print a little paint palette, and it was a complete mess. I played with heat settings to try and get it to properly adhere to the bed. I ended up using a rather wide brim to get it to stick. I had to bump up my nozzle temp more than 10 degrees above the norm for PLA. On the last attempt, it looked as if it was finally going to work...and then it clogged my nozzle. After a huge number of prints, this was the first time I had my nozzle become unusable. I have attempted to unplug it several times, and I have accepted that I am going to have to replace my nozzle. This nozzle was actually pretty new, so there was no reason for it to have bound up. I would strongly recommend avoiding this stuff. It acts more like silk PLA than basic stuff, but silk is a heck of a lot easier to print. The pictures show just how messed up the trays kept coming out. The blue box in one of the pictures was printed right before working with the white. It printed perfectly. It is just the white that caused all the trouble. FYI, the blue filament is from Flashforge.

**** UPDATE below **** Initial review: I’ve had great experiences with eSUN’s filament before, but this is not one of those times. This looks like someone used half of the white spool and returned it. The black spool is also a bit light, which isn’t a huge problem, but I think it was also used. Filament ends were not threaded through the side, and both look like they were partially extruded. Shame on the person who returned it like this, but also even more shame on the seller for shipping this out. There is a window in the box to view the spools, it should have been a red flag when they saw the plastic wrapping wasn’t on them… Don’t shy away from eSUN products, they are usually great, this was a problem with the seller/amazon. Will be requesting a refund. ********* Update: I returned the first box and seller was fast shipping out the replacement. The new spools are actually over a kilogram, even subtracting the weight of the cardboard. Prints great and has a great price! Unfortunately, I still can't rate it 5 stars due to the initial shipment.

At 12$ it’s worth it. If the price was any higher I’d recommend anything in the whole polymaker line (especially pla+ and pro) This is fone for a cheap filament but that’s exactly what it is, a cheap filament…

Great high speed filament. Works good on my A1 mini. Make sure to dry the filament before printing with it.

I'm pretty new to 3D printing, but this filament worked perfectly: minimal tuning, minimal stringing, and relatively perfect adhesion after wiping down my plate with hand sanitizer. I used the recommended settings and achieved perfect results. Highly recommend--will be back for more colours eventually.

Really good filament, especially for the price, i can see some variation, but it print really well in general, and it have a nice smouth Matt effect thanks to my stainless steel nozzles which is really appreciated.

Poor quality. Arrived and seems to be full of moisture judging by bubbles. With elegoo PLA these layer lines are not visible at all. 0.1mm layers. Same settings I always used. Tried different temp and speed but same results.
