I bought this ice maker over a month ago. I repolace a Newair Bullet Ice maker that made 35 lbs of ice per day. While I liked that icemaker, This one blows it away. I originally wanted a sonic type nugget ice maker but decided to try tis one out. I was not disappointed, It makes ice fast and not just 5 cibes at a time, it make an entire glass of ice and the ice is clear and somehow makes the drinks colder than the other icemaker did. Newair made a great machine and it lasted for over 3 years running constantly but after a gentle internal cleaning, it stopped working. Not sure why. This machine has an auto clean function and is very easy to clean. You can also invert a water bottle on top filled with your favorite water and it will auto feed from the jug. Much like a water cooler. For the speed of ice maker and price, it is well worth it. Also, it keeps the ice frozen for a very long time. The only negative is that the ice tends to freeze in thicker sheets so they do not easily break apart. The plastic scoop is much sturdier than the previous machine but i use an small aluminum ice hammer which does a much better job. It would be nice to ave an adjustable timer but the ice is great.

This ice maker works great. It has good water capacity, it's a good size, it doesn't leak, and it's easy to use. It is a good value for the Black Friday money I spent. However, it only makes ten cubes at a time. I spend most of the day making ice and putting the cubes in the freezer. The cubes are wet and therefore freeze together in the freezer. If you buy this ice machine, make sure you buy a good ice pick as well.

**UPDATE** It’s 3 months in and it’s still going strong with no problems whatsoever. I’m still in love with this icemaker. Just found out I can use 3 gallon water bottles on top to auto fill the reservoir (see photo) which makes an already excellent product even better! I only wish I could give it 10 stars!!! This is at least my fourth countertop ice maker. I’ve had 2 bullets, a nugget (Sonic ice) and now this one that produces square cubes. This he is an absolute GAME CHANGER. It’s whisper quiet..the only noise o ever hear is that of the ice dropping. I only hear that when the collection basket is empty. The water reservoir and collection basket have oversized capacity so I’m not constantly having to refill the water tank and clear the ice from the basket like with previous machines. The ice itself ejects as a rectangular, segmented single “sheet” of cubes that are easily broken apart with the scoop or an ice pick. The cubes produced are SOLID and come out completely frozen vs. others that have holes in the middle or come out feeling very wet. They don’t melt in my drinks whereas previous models melted the second they hit my glass. I put ice in my tumbler around 10pm and there’s still ice the next day (12 hours later). If you’re not familiar with countertop ice makers, this is unheard of! It has a timer you can program, as well as a genius feature that allows you to shorten or increase the standard 13 minute intervals between ice dumps. This means the ice has more more time to freeze making it harder and last longer. The ice in the basket stays frozen for hours! It’s a complete game changer…

The ice maker in our refrigerator broke years ago and is way too expensive to replace. As such, we switched to a countertop ice maker. We had a different brand for a couple years until it died. It was a pain to clean, so we looked for a different company for a replacement. We have had this ecozy ice maker for about 9-10 months now and have really been happy with it. It is a bit noisy, but I get the impression they all are despite what they claim. It makes ice fairly quickly, certainly meeting our needs as a family of 5. Cleaning this machine is easy and effective, neither of which was the case for our last ice maker. Since it sits on the countertop and the holding chamber is not refrigerated, the ice is not as cold as it would be when stored in the freezer. We usually just use the ice directly from the machine, but we do move some to the freezer for when we need it (like making shaved ice).

Maravillosa máquina fábrica de hielos. Hace muchísimos hielos en muy poco tiempo tal y como lo describen en el producto. Los hielos duran mucho tiempo. El único detalle es que salen las tabletas de hielo pegadas y no hielos independientes, aunque en realidad esto no es un problema porque se rompen fácilmente con el cucharón que viene incluído, y puede ser una ventaja cuando se trata de usar los hielos en contenedores grandes como jarras o termos. Además, los hielos se mantienen intactos aunque tardemos en retirarlos de la máquina. Súper recomendable.

It claims it makes ice cubes in 6 min it takes an hour or more, the the cubes are hollow and useless melting as soon as put in a cup.
