I really like that this smart lock uses a dedicated app to be able to remotely operate the lock and it also can send you a notification whenever the lock is operated. Now I know whenever anyone comes into or leaves my house. It also lets you issue guest codes to people you want to allow access to as well as letting anyone in remotely. I also dig the feature that can be turned on or off that will auto lock the door after a certain amount of time, up to 3 minutes. This is great because now I don’t need to worry about kids forgetting to lock the door behind them. The app is quite functional and makes life easier. This lock is built well and looks good. The touch pad works well also and the ability to also use the included key is a great back up. This product is a very good deal for the price and I would recommend it to anyone. Eufy make some great products.

Easy to install and works well! It did get a little glitchy and didn’t want to work right a couple of times when it was really cold out but other than that, I have no complaints. The lock does what it’s supposed to do. Convenient to being able to lock and unlock thru the app. App has some other cool features.

I recently purchased this Eufy door lock on a whim because I needed a quick replacement for my broken Kwikset automatic lock. I had heard of Eufy before and knew their products were solidly made without a ridiculous price tag, so I decided to give it a try. And man, what a great spur-of-the-moment decision! Especially since we all know those impulse purchases don’t always work out. Pros: • Sturdy and Durable: The lock looks great and feels incredibly solid, like it could withstand a lot of wear and tear. • Easy Installation: You don’t need to be a handyman to install this. The process was straightforward, especially since my door was already pre-cut and universally sized. • Straightforward Connectivity: Setting up the smart features was pretty simple. While some tech-savviness might help, it’s not a difficult process—just follow a few basic in-app steps, and integrating it with our Alexa ecosystem was smooth. • Convenient Code Management: I love how easy it is to add and remove multiple entry codes. This is super handy for us, especially when we need a dog sitter during our trips. Cons: • Aesthetic Size Preference: If I had to nitpick, I wish the lock was slightly larger, purely for aesthetic reasons. • Loose Turn Knob: The manual turn knob feels a bit loose. I tried making adjustments, but it seems like a manufacturing design rather than something related to my setup. However, once locked, the deadbolt is secure, which is the most important thing. • Hold-to-Confirm Feature: I’m not a fan of the “hold to confirm” feature for locking the door. It’s not a huge deal, but having to hold the button for a few seconds to lock the door can be a little annoying, especially when you’re in a hurry. I wish there were more in-app options to adjust this, allowing for an instant lock with just a single tap. Overall: I’m really impressed with this Eufy door lock. It’s been a great addition to our home, and I’ll definitely consider purchasing more Eufy products in the future!

I have used more expensive smart locks from Schlage and Yale and prefer this for several reasons in addition to the price. First, the internet interface via the app is brilliant. It is always accessible from my phone and easy and intuitive to lock and unlock. The lock itself keeps track of the combination used to open it so you know who used it if there are multiple combinations (as you might have in an airbnb). Also, mine came without instructions (it was a refurb) and Eufy customer service was very helpful in getting me up and running quickly. Finally, it's a nice looking piece of hardware. Two nits keep it from earning five stars. First, the battery life. I've had it 5 months and replaced the batteries twice even though it gets very light usage (it is locked/unlocked probably no more than half a dozen times a day). It's easy to change the batteries and batteries are cheap these days so not a big deal. Second, the keypad sometimes gets confused and you have to enter a combo multiple times before it opens. Seems like it counts the first touch to activate the lock as a keystroke in the combination, something that could be corrected with software. But that could be a problem if you're giving a custom combination to third party guests.

Replaced an electronic Kwikset lock on my beach condo front door that was starting to erode after three years exposure to the harsh humid climate. Time will tell how this Eufy lock holds up under the same conditions, but right out of the gate, the Eufy lock has a lot going for it. Physical installation was a breeze; took maybe 15 minutes tops! The instructions were very clear and concise. I already have a Eufy video doorbell, so I was able to scan for new devices and add the new lock in no time. The fact that it integrates (if you'd like) with your video doorbell is a huge plus! The rubber seal around the interior and exterior components should keep moisture out. My other lock had physical buttons, which I liked, but I think that allowed in moisture which may have reduced its life under seaside conditions. I'm cautiously optimistic that the flat panel digital keypad will help keep water out of the Eufy. The actual deadbolt is silky smooth, and the wifi capabilities work like a charm. I love the fact that I can check the status of the lock, and even unlock and lock it, remotely if necessary. I also like that I get a notification when the door has been unlocked, a very handy feature for knowing when building maintenance has entered to do the monthly pest control. All this, at a price that was half what I paid for the original Kwikset lock makes this Eufy lock a huge value!

This lock is advertised as capable of locking/unlocking via BT. This is not true. The customer service I contacted claimed application unlocking is what is meant by BT but it is not BT, it is wifi unlocking and clearly needs a connection to the company server. In other words, one has to be connected to the internet to unlock it from within application. After I stated this simply fact the agent got disconnected.
