I've owned it for 6 months, so time to review it. Works perfectly. Feels comfortable on my lap, doesn't move, and best of all, it keeps my laptop from whirling itself to death when I play games. I like that the light isn't horrificly bright, and the other upside is that it cools me down, too. Probably someone with more experiences with other coolers might say this is slippery, and while I could mildly agree, I'd say for a very still adult, it's fine. I, however, move around because I can't sit still for more than 10 minutes at a time (leg jiggling, fidgeter in general), so my laptop sometimes slips on it. Don't get it for a kid who is similarly cursed. Your average adult will love it. No one needs anything fancier, and it will definitely increase the longevity of your laptop (though be watchful of your charging, as this does require your laptop power, and overcharging your laptop will soon require a new battery).

I bought a this because I tend to play games on my laptop at the kitchen table while my wife and kids watch TV in the living area. At times, they’d complain because my laptop sounded like a jet plane when the fans ramped up. While I don’t have a decibel meter, we all agree, it does seem to keep the laptop quieter. With that being said, I decided to run a definitive test. So I ran 3d Mark Time Spy with and without the cooling pad. I’ve included some pics with the numbers. With the pad, average temperature was down about 2 degrees C on the CPU and 6 degrees C on the gpu. Also the average clock speeds of both the cpu and gpu were higher. If I could I would give it 4.5 stars only because it feels cheaply made. For the price I’m definitely not complaining, but I’m not sure how well it will hold up if it’s dropped.

I really like this cooler but gave it 4 stars because of fan placement. As you can see in the photo the bottom 2 fans are mostly blowing against solid metal so you really only have the upper fan doing the work. I am going to try rotating it 180 degrees but then will have to rig something for the tilt since the legs will be at the bottom. Power cord could be 6 inches longer in case your plugging it in to something else instead of the laptop. I have another cooler with different speed settings and more fans but this one still puts out more air than the other one. I would probably buy this again.

Havit HV-F2056. 04/09/2025. I have several. Some are on 24/7 under my modem/routers. Others are on when laptops are used. To get a good air flow through the top where you can actually feel the flow, they must be elevated at ALL four corners. I use my laptops connected to a Hub and multiple monitors and separate keyboard so this elevated configuration does not cause me inconvenience and keeps the laptop temps lower. Using the cooler as an cooling aid while using your laptop on your lap on on your bed prevents all blockage of the laptop fan air intake under the laptop. It gives a small standoff space beneath the laptop allowing it to breathe. Overall I like the size of the Havit HV-F2056 and pleased with it. I will continue to purchase the Havit HV-F2056 as they seem to last several years running 24/7 before they die. the oldest running is 2019 and newest is 2025.

This is awesome!! I cannot believe the output from the fan and with no noise!! I actually checked a couple of times to see that it was working, which of course it was, but because I didn't hear anything, I really thought it had stopped! It was working and my laptop was kept cool. Also, my laptop doesn't slide around with this fan underneath it. Highly recommend this. One last note, for gamers/sim racers etc, I would try this to see if it would be enough power/cooling for your gaming laptop...I don't know if it is, but it works well for my laptop.

Super quiet. I tested a few of these, and this was the quietest of them all! I really didn't care about the lights. Most important was quiet and cooling, which it does both. 2 thumbs up!

Its works amazing keeps my alienware m15 at bay and keeps it cool for gaming amazing. My wife is the one who uses it and she has had no complaints about my alienware m15 getting loud when gaming anymore

Had it for 6ish months until one of the fans stopped working which dramatically decreased its effectiveness. The super bright blue "on" light is really frustrating and it would be much more convenient if it had usbc slots as well as usb.

I bought this laptop cooler for my router (which gets really hot and becomes a bit unreliable) rather than my laptop. The cooler is about twice the size of the router but I have some other devices attached to the router which also get hot, so I put those on the remaining free space. The good news is that even though the air flow from the fans isn't particularly powerful, it's more than enough to cool my devices. Result. The bad news is that although the cooler is fairly quiet (about 22db at six inches from the cooler, according to an App I downloaded on my phone) it's still loud enough that it annoys me. This is a problem because my fibre broadband socket is in the lounge right next to where I sit, so that's where the router has to be, and it drives me mad. The obvious solution would be to reduce the voltage being supplied to the fans so they run a bit slower. While scouring Amazon for the requisite parts, I stumbled across the DollaTek USB Fan Speed Controller (£5.99 for three). This does exactly what I need without me having to take the cooler apart (or do any soldering)! In fact it does more than I need because it not only allows you to reduce the voltage (to reduce the noise) it also allows you to increase the voltage (up to 12V! to increase cooling). As a further benefit, when the fan controller is set to MINimum, the LED's on the fans don't illuminate. Handy! Then, as you increase the voltage the fans speed up and the LED's gradually get brighter. Nice! Without the fan controller the cooler produces 22db of noise at six inches. With the controller on MINimum the cooler produces just 16db at six inches, which is much quieter! (I can still hear it when the room is silent, but not when the TV is on.) With the controller on MAXimum the cooler produces a whopping 44db of noise at six inches, but the fans move MUCH more air. Any gamers who need a lot of cooling might find this useful. (Regular users probably won't though because the noise is too loud.) As we all know, energy costs have gone through the roof recently, and currently stand at about 36p per kWh. Without the fan controller the cooler consumes about 3.5W, which is almost nothing, and would cost me about 3p per day if I left it on 24/7. With the controller at MINimum the cooler uses less than 0.1W (less than 0.1p per day) and on MAXimum is uses 11.3W (10p per day). The final question though, is whether the cooler will still cool my devices when the controller is set to MINimum... and the answer is... yes! Job done! :-) To use the controller, all you do is plug the controller into your power source (laptop USB socket or USB mains adapter) and plug one end of the male-Type-A-to-male-Type-A USB cable (supplied with the cooler) into the female socket on the controller and the other end into one of the female sockets on the cooler. Done. BEWARE THOUGH - if you're using the controller YOU SHOULD NOT USE THE SPARE USB SOCKET ON THE COOLER TO POWER ANYTHING ELSE, because it won't be receiving the standard 5V power that a USB socket should have. Your device either won't work (if the voltage is below 5V) or could be permanently damaged (if the voltage is above 5V). I also don't know if running the cooler above 5V will reduce the life of the fans. Do so at your own risk!

Really works well. Sure does put out the cold air. Quite a change from my old prehistoric laptop cooler. It has a nice Neon Blue light on the bottom as well. I like that. An extra USB port in case I need one. A on/off switch if the cold air gets to be too much. There are legs on the back underneath that can be part up or all the way up. I have mine all the way up and find it much more comfortable to type. Also has 2 sticky strips to add so your computer won't slip. A good price for all these perks too. An easy set up.

Mon dernier modèle de tablette réfrigérante me paraissait efficace.
