Pretty incredible how it navigates around on different terrain. It moves ofer LVP and low pile area rigs with ease. The self emptying feature is really cool.

Works fine, like my old roomba. Only problems were in the app. Internet connection problems, install on app problems. Also thr mapping features are less then other roombas in the same brand. Can't mark no zones with this i5+. Really sucks.

This was given to us as a Christmas gift and frankly it does an awful job. We live near the beach with a dog so vacuuming is a frequent task. Four main gripes: 1) The Roomba does not pick up dog hair well, and leaves a "windrow" of dog hair that makes the hair even more visible, requiring us to vacuum behind it. 2) It lacks enough suction to pick up sand from even our hardwood or tile floors...the rotating brush just scatters it more. 3) It continually gets caught up in the fringe of area rugs, and needs human rescuing. 4) Frequently does not make it back to its base to empty, stopping in its track with the alert that the unit needs cleaning. On the positive, it does seem to navigate furniture and walls quite well and finds it way back home. Had it not been a gift, it would have been returned. It is now in the donate list.

I purchased this Roomba to replace an ancient unit purchased years ago. I love the self cleaning feature. The vacuum does a great job on my carpet and hardwood mixed floor.

The unit was dead after 6 month of normal use. The support was quick in getting me a replacement one. However, the replacement was very noisy. I suspect it could die any time. Any one has similar experience? Also the self-empty does not work very well. I have to manually clean the filter after using twice, otherwise the floor will be left with string of dust. Replacing the filter, dust bag and side brush does not make any difference.

Is your bald family with a hairless cat looking for a Great robot vacuum? Or perhaps you’re looking to buy a self emptying vacuum that Requires your daily attention anyways due to error codes? WELL LOOK NO FURTHER! This vacuum does not do what the advertising claims. Hair gets tangled and every single piece of this vacuum and needs to be taken apart and detangled on a weekly basis. Probably every other day, the vacuum experiences an error code and does not self empty, which means that I am emptying it manually, which is not why I paid extra money for a self emptying robot vacuum. When I reached out to Roomba for support, they Just stated that regular maintenance would help with these problems. But daily maintenance should not be expected for a vacuum that claims to Need minimal intervention from its owners. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with it because it’s past the 60 day return. They offered a warranty part replacement for the sweeping brush that was no longer spinning as they assumed the motor was not working, but upon taking it apart I realized it was just yet another piece that had been tangled up with hair. If you purchase this and you have hair or any animals with hair, expect to be taking it apart with a screwdriver every week. Will not be purchasing from Roomba ever again.
