Unlike typical jute rugs, this one isn’t rough—it’s soft and comfortable underfoot. It did have a strong odor from the natural fibers at first, but after spraying it with Clorox fabric sanitizer, the odor was completely gone the next day. It has completely transformed my family room, and I’m so happy with my purchase!

This rug is just beautiful! No overpowering smell. If anything, it smells like grass. Clean and simple. Does not feel rough on bare feet in the least. Color is exactly as expected. I am in love with it!

I had to put a runner in my hallway because our new dog had a hard time on the wood floors. This matched or living room rug and colors in the house. So beautiful. I put a nonslip mat under it and it’s so nice to walk on. Nice thickness to it. My dog is always running through the house and this rug has held up to his craziness without showing signs of wear and tear.

this rug is gorgeous. literally gorgeous. the thickness is to my liking, it fits perfectly in my desired space, & functions as the perfect entryway runner:) I did use carpet tape to help secure it, so that would be my only recommendation! all in all, this rug is perfect & so incredibly stunning

This is a lovely rug, appeared well made and had a nice feel. Having the detail of the cotton stitched throughout makes it a little more refined looking than the typical jute rug in my opinion. One thing to note is that the true measurements of the 8x10 rug is 7'.5" x 9'.5". Yes, it does say this if you expand the "Specifications" area below the general details, however I initially missed this. Unfortunately 8x10 is the smallest I can go for my room so this rug did not work and it was disappointing that I had to return it. On another positive note, the return was a piece of cake. Once back in the original packaging, UPS picked it up at my door.

I am in love with this rug! I absolutely love this rug. It came rolled up rather than folded. It was nicely and well packaged with a lovely card. I like it so much that I am ordering another one. Never wrote a review in my life but I had to warn people!! 1st the Rug took forever to get to me kept get new 'expected delivery' updates, finally get it, hummed and hawed about whether to keep it cause it took so long. Last week decided to keep it and put it out. Husband kept saying he smelt mold, I didnt notice it as much, kept putting our faces up to the rug taking giant whiffs to assess the smell... I want to be SICK. Then I noticed a maggot looking thing crawling across my hard wood, I had a feeling, went searching for a source, lifted the rug and.... well see the pictures. Im sooooo disgusted, I can't get comfortable in my own home now, I feel like there are bugs crawling everywhere.... oh and I'm out over a $100 + whatever it cost me to sanitize my home.
