I’m 6’0” wearing 36” inseam pant. These pants are generous in length and are truly 36” in XLong. I find the waist a bit too low to my liking, but hey, beggars (tall people) can’t be choosers :) This pant is my primary hiking pant, I own several pairs. I’d probably recommend sizing up for comfort. I’m size 8, size 10 in this pant sits more comfortably than size 8, but both fit.

The Good: Overall, these are decent pants. Despite what a few others have said, these ARE pretty true to size, if we are truly being honest about our size, ladies. ;-) They DO run long (even the petite). For reference, I am 5'2" 117 lbs. w/ a little tummy. Except for being a little longer than expected, the 4 Short fit great w/a little extra room in hips. The Not So Good: They are definitely overpriced (paid around $95.) = -1 star. The biggest issue I had, and reason for taking additional stars, is the color. I needed navy blue and ordered Stormy Night. The color received, while marked Stormy Night, was a dark, granite grey. They list THREE different grey options, PLUS Stormy Night (which looks dark blue in the picture), so it was reasonable for me to believe Stormy Night would be dark/navy blue. I am totally disappointed, as I really liked these pants, was willing to overpay a little for the right choice, but absolutely needed dark blue. :-/

I really like the fit and quality, despite being a little too pricey...have to say can tell ZERO difference between Coal and Black pants. I think the Coal could be more of a dark gray

These have a flattering cut and practical pockets. The fabric is a bit stretchy and wind and water resistant. Love the color.

These pants are listed as durable, with a fabric content of 97% nylon and 3% elastane. I paid $95 for a pair of size 16 short-length, and the short length is a 30" inseam that is too long for petite sizes, so I paid another $20 to have them shortened, meaning I have made a significant investment into these pants. The first day I wore them, I went on a 1-hour horseback ride, and that evening, when I took them off, I was unhappy to discover that they had pilled very severely in the seat where they were in contact with the horse's saddle. Considering I have over $115 in these pants (pre-tax), which are less durable than advertised, I called Prana directly. Prana told me that they do not consider this a manufacturing defect and that it occurs with certain fibers, particularly recycled fibers, that I should shave the pilling, and that it shouldn't happen in that spot in the future. These pants are not advertised as recycled fibers, and my husband has five pairs of Prana Zion pants with the same 97% nylon and 3% elastane. He wore a pair of these on the same 1-hour horseback ride, and fortunately, his pants did not pill. I would have returned these as defective, except I already invested an additional $20 in alterations, so I shaved the pilled area. Shaving these did not remove all the pilling, and I had to be extremely careful not to shave the pocket stitching. So, be forewarned that these pants are not durable for any activities that could cause pilling. Also, I'm sorry I didn't photograph the pilling before shaving, and why would you purchase $95 pants that might require shaving?

I have worn prana pants for over a decade now. And loved the Halle Pants so much. But this pair is clearly way cheaper. The material is thinner, they aren't structured the same, and the fit is just off. The pant legs almost look like bell- bottoms on me. I wish companies would just stick to a good recipe, and not alter a good thing. I am debating if I can even wear then, they look weird
