TLDR: AMAZING product, easy install and, most importantly, IDIOT PROOF! Now for the review: I like pretty things. So, when I saw these privacy films on a buzzfeed post, I knew I had to have them! I bought the one-way privacy film and the pretty rainbow one. Well… my excitement got the best of me. The films come with instructions but, how hard can it be, right? I opened the box, threw away the directions, and started “installing”. First mistake. If I would have read the directions, I would have known that I had to ADD WATER TO MAKE IT STICK. I figured it out a little later than I would have wanted, and thankfully I only made one scratch on the film. Once you add water, the films stickiness is unmatched - it gives you some grace to move it around, but it will stick after a little while. Second mistake: buy the right size for your window! I was too hurried to measure my windows, and bought a size too small. I thought “oh, that’s fine. I can just cut it.” Well yes, and no…. The film is easy to cut and tailor to your window… IF you’re able to cut in a straight line. I went at it with a little blade and obviously did not get the straight lines this film would have gladly given me. Despite my inability to read, the film doesn’t look all that bad! It’s definitely a one-way screen and, if you look outside through your window, you can still see the outside very clearly with a nice blue tint. It definitely makes a difference against the sun, and my room feels a bit cooler. After butchering the privacy screen on the first install, I decided to read the directions for the pretty white one that emits rainbows: a world of a difference. The instructions take no more than 30 seconds to read, and it made a complete difference! No bad lines, no ugly streaks, no mistakes. Took me less than 5 minutes to install after I left the film under some books to straighten it out. I love these films and, once I get over how stupid I was the first time, I’m definitely going to buy these again to re-do the first window. I don’t regret this purchase! Beautiful tint at a very affordable price.

I put this window film up in my bathroom about 6 months ago on a window directly next to my shower and so far it has held up with zero issue! From the outside it provides really good privacy and creates such a strong rainbow from the sun that it travels across the hall and room across from it! I used glass cleaner and a credit card to apply this to my window and the process was really quick and easy!

I should have bought this sooner. I bought and moved into my house 1 year ago and some of the windows had the frosted paint on it. I personally do not like the frosted paint, it's like nails on a chalkboard when I touch it. I finally figured out how to remove it (spray white vinegar on it and carefully scrape with a blade) and used this to replace it for privacy. I love that you can see through it in the day time as I don't feel closed in. It allows enough transparency to see the trees behind but not enough that people can see into the room. The added bonus is the amount of color that bleeds into the room when the sun hits just right in the morning. It adds happiness to the house as the color dances throughout the room while the sun passes by. I have extra from what I bought so I will be adding this to my bedroom when I find time to scrape the frosted paint off those windows! Installation took 5 to 10 minutes with the help of my husband. Any bubbles that were behind the film when installing have now disappeared. I have had this for a couple of months now and it's been sticking like a champ. We measured what we needed, cut it to size, and it fits well. If I need to cover any other windows, I would buy this again, the quality is top notch.

Application was fairly simple, if not a bit frustrating at times. But luckily it’s super forgivable so you can try multiple times as long as you keep applying water to the window. I highly recommend you don’t apply this at night because even though we cleaned the window, a tiny black strand of hair made its way to the backside that I didn’t catch till the next day and now it drives me crazy. In terms of the privacy, I wish it gave just a bit more obscurity. I feel like if someone got close enough to the other side of the window they could prob make things out. Luckily we don’t have that problem as our window is on the top floor. But something to keep in mind for ground floor folks! Overall I’m happy with this, the rainbows bring me joy and even when the sun isn’t shining on it, there’s a subtle fleck of shimmer that is just as pretty. There are still some air bubbles that we couldn’t get out but they are unnoticeable during the day. Only during night but that doesn’t bother me much.

I love this item. I've used it at 2 different houses. At the first place, because the view out of one window was a mildewed tarp on neighbor's property. The second place was for privacy from people walking by one side of my apartment. You will get light, and if sunbeams come in your window you'll get rainbow projections. I suggest using a bathroom squeegee and it's easy to eliminate all the air bubbles.

When I opened the package, I was expecting it to be more colorful. Once I peeled off the backing and applied according to the instructions, it was perfect! Just the right amount of privacy without sacrificing the light from outside. I can’t wait to see what it looks like from the outside at night with my workroom lights shining through it! ’ve been looking for stickers for my double windows that I can’t clean inside, and these are perfect! The quality is great..durable, well-made, and easy to apply with no bubbles. The stickiness is just right, and they fit perfectly. The best part? When the sun hits (and sometimes even when it doesn’t), they create stunning rainbow reflections! Great value for money and highly recommend.

Está muy fácil de instalar. Parece que no trae adhesivo, pero aplicando agua en la superficie, como dice las instrucciones, queda perfectamente pegado al vidrio, y es fácil corregir la posición en lo que seca. Recomiendo mucho tener un limpia parabrisas chiquito, con gomita, eso me hizo el trabajo mucho más fácil. Se ve muy bonito también, si refleja la luz en colores, y da privacidad.

Prestare attenzione al lato da applicare al vetro : quello con il film protettivo , dopo averlo tolto. Per errore ho applicato la pellicola rovescia, me ne sono accorta perchè non brillava. il giorno dopo ho staccato la pellicola con acqua saponata e l'ho girata , tutto bene
