I live in a smaller space (sub 1000 square foot apartment) and most of our floors are hard wood, with a couple of rugs thrown in for good measure. Over the years we've had numerous robotic vacuum cleaners from various manufacturers. Our needs with this one were simple. We wanted a device that was controllable via app and virtual assistant (Alexa, google home, etc.). The ability for the device to map our living space and for us to name rooms and choose which rooms. to vacuum in any given session was a deal breaker. I wasn't looking for a device with a built in mop - though this turned out to be a huge boon, and self-emptying the bin was not important to me (this device does not have a docking station that allows for self-emptying; if that is important to you then look elsewhere). The device looks much like all previous robotic vacuum cleaners that we purchased. As does the dock. Setup was extremely simple - I downloaded the app, scanned the barcode sticker on the top of the device, and it walked me through the rest. Didn't take more than 2 minutes. I followed the instructions in the app to map my space and a few minutes (I live in a small space) all of our rooms were mapped, named and ready to go. This was about as seamless a process as it could have been. Adding the device to my virtual assistants (Alexa and Google Assistant, for now) was very straightforward and the app provided excellent instructions (with screenshots) for both. I exclusively use google assistant for this device as the commands are much cleaner. I simply say "Google, clean the Living room" and the living room is vacuumed. I can even chain commands "Google, clean the Living Room and the Kitchen" and it will selectively clean the mentioned rooms. Alexa's commands were a bit more arduous to use/remember (something along the lines of "Alexa, please ask Roborock to...." - I honestly can't even remember). I believe this to be a result of how Alexa's skills work, and outside of the control of Roborock. The vacuum cleaner cleans hard wood floors and rugs very well and I've yet to encounter a case where the floors were not spotless after a cleaning session. I can't speak to thicker carpet since we do not have any, but I'm really impressed by the cleaning and the bin in this device appears to be larger than previously owned devices because it lasts a few sessions before needing to be emptied. Mopping. I did not buy this device for its mopping capabilities but I'm really glad to have them. I read other reviews that suggested that the mopping was not useful, but I strongly disagree. Perhaps if you had a big mess, or sticky floors, then the (wetted) pad that drags along the ground when cleaning could not clean up sufficiently but when used more in a maintenance mode (i.e. I utilize the mop *every* time I turn on the vacuum) it keeps the floors nice and clean. Is it as powerful as higher end mopping devices? Absolutely not. Does it keep the floors nice and clean? Absolutely. What you need will largely influence your perception of the mop but to me this is a great add-on when used frequently. Finally, the ability to schedule vacuum session has been wonderful. Within the Roborock app I set up routines to clean various areas of my apartment on schedule. For instance, I schedule the vacuum to clean the Kitchen and Dining Room every morning after breakfast (8am) and every evening after dinner (7pm). The vacuum takes care of the rest and in a house with children this kind of scheduled and automatic maintenance greatly reduces crumbs and mess. This is a very cost effective device that feels like more of a luxury than I could have expected. It fits my needs perfectly and I absolutely love it.

First, I'm a VERY critical consumer. I've owned four other robotic vacuums. This is the best in almost every way. The only weakness is the mopping mode. It has a small reservoir and requires soaking the pad. If mopping is a priority to a customer, I wouldn't purchase this. But, when it comes to cleaning and not getting lost, it's the best. I can tell that it is very smart. I've closed doors so it's gotten stuck and I've put it down in a different part of the house, and after spinning around and moving a few feet here and there, it seems to figure out where it is and finds its way home. Our house is very spread out and it has no problem finding its way to the farthest room. The software is easy to use. It is very easy to select one or multiple rooms for cleaning. It is very powerful and actually went under our recliner which has about a 3/4" metal bar. It was very easy to zoom in and create no-go zones which I made where we had extension cords or USB cables under furniture. If you don't, as I hadn't to begin with, it will get caught up in them. I've had it less than a year so I can't speak of longevity. I always read negative reviews prior to making a purchase and look for consistency. I didn't find that nor did I have any issue with anything that was complained about. I like this so much, that we gifted a more expensive almost new vacuum that had some issues with noise on a hard floor and not being smart and bought a second Roborock.

This thing is lifechanging! We have 4 dogs (2 shepherds) and 7 cats, and live in the country. We could make another cat and dog every day with what these guys shed. Without this, it was a never ending (and failing) battle to keep the home even halfway decently swept/vaccumed, let alone mopped. Living in the country we also constantly have dirt/mud being tracked in. Oh, we also have a wood stove so add ash/dirt/wood chips just for fun. (I feel sorry for this poor thing!) This sucker flat out works! I run it every day. The dust bin is a bit small, wouldn't want the vac without the auto-empty bin. It's full after vacuuming about half our living room. But the dock works perfectly. You can define "rooms" or sections of your house and have it auto-empty and charge after each one to address that. I put a new (washed) mop pad on and fill the water tank every night, leaves the floor nice and clean once it's done cleaning. Not necessarily perfect, especially if the dogs feet were muddy, but very good. By the 2nd cleaning it IS perfect, we rarely do an actual mopping, just clean up any spills. A few hints or comments. If you have laminate or hardwood flooring you will want the unit to mob the long direction of the boards. You can't specify mop direction, but you can divide a large room into longer, thinner sections, which causes the vacuum to run/mop the long way. If you have a litter box, inevitably some litter will be scattered. You'll want to vacuum that area first, not mop and vac a the same time. That litter will turn to mud and smear. Running a vacuum cycle first in that area addresses that issue. In the last 3 months we've had the unit, I think it's failed to make it back to the dock 1/2 times. At least one it ingested a charging cord, so that's my bad. Once it just got confused and refused to leave a specific area. A couple of cautions. If you have the herd we do, the dust bags don't last long. We get maybe 2-3 weeks out of one, which as far as I'm concerned is quite good. You can get some "aftermarket" ones for about $2.50 each. Far cheaper than factory ones. Get a number of mop pads. I put on a clean (washed) one each day and just toss them in the laundry. The only issue I've had with the unit involves charging. Even a minimal amount of dirt or contamination on the contacts will cause an error-it will "tell" you to clean them, doing so and all is good. It's more sensitive in that regard than other brands I've ordered. I've seen some comments with the dock plugging up. I've had minimal issues with it. I think 2 times it's jammed when it picked up a large wood chip from the wood stove. Only other time was when I didn't notice the dust bag was full and it backed up a bit. The directions say to only use water in the tank. I usually add 2-3 drops of the Bona hardwood floor cleaner to a tank. Hasn't caused any problems and does seem to clean a little better. What could use improvement? Well, a cyclonic dust bin so you didn't have to buy bags would be number 1. The mapping program should let you set direction for mopping for wood planks, rather than making you "cheat" as I described above. Would be nice to have it sense when the dust bin is full, or set run time for it to return to the dock and dump, rather than creating smaller rooms. And maybe a bigger dust bin-but there really isn't room for one. On hard surfaces, this is about perfect. It works well on most of our area rugs. We do have one that shows and really seems to cling to pet hair. The vacuum does "OK" on it, but not great and hair builds up over a few days. Frankly, our upright doesn't do much better, you have to go over and over it to remove much of the hair. I picked up one of the pet hair squeegees to work the hair out once in a while, seems like the best solution so far. The battery is the other issue. Not capacity, it runs for quite a while (2 hours or more). But charging is very slow. I've broken up my room cleaning schedule to allow some charging time between cycles to avoid running it down to 20%-at which point it stops vacuuming and charges to 100%, which takes several hours. If you don't have our herd and don't have to clean the whole house every day, that's probably not an issue. Schedule half the house each day. Or if you can get away with vacuuming alone without mopping it would go longer. Other comments. This is a really heavy, solid unit, both the dock and the vacuum. Very much feels substantial. We have previously had a couple Neatos and a Roborock E35. This is much, much better than any of the other units (and much, much more expensive). The previous units failed to return to base at least 1/3 of the time and you'd play "where's the vacuum" every night. The E35 had a mop, but it was "static" and just pulled along (as opposed to powered on the S7), it was pretty useless-and had no water reservoir. Paying for this was painful, but I have no regrets at this point. My only concern is life. Given our rather extreme use case I'm sure we won't do as well as most. For the price I still hope to see a few years from it.

The product is probably nice and effective, but the seller is selling it in Saudi market where the voltage is incompatible to the functioning of the product. They should not sell it in a market which is not right for the product!

What I love most is it almost never gets stuck and I don't have to remember to empty the container. for a while. Does well with hair and cleaning hair out of rollers takes 2 minutes, great design. Does a whole floor of 1300 sq ft with 65% battery left. Programming is almost very good, with a few minor tricky things, but generally very intuitive. Suction is adequate to all surfaces, not too loud but loud enough that it's hard to watch TV with it around. Does a really good job with minor omissions sometimes, cleaned 100% if I ran it twice, especially if there was a lot of dirt on the floor. Didn't try the mop as it's basically dragging a wet sponge, I'd get the rotating mops in that case for better efficiency It would probably not pass the dog-poo test, but I don't run it unattended
