We’ve had the Roborock Q7 Max for a little over a month and have used it almost daily for a total cleaning time of 23 hours with 15k sq ft cleaned. We have two hairless dogs and two cats (one short hair and one long hair). We have not used the scheduled cleaning function due to having pets in the house. Pros: The Roborock has helped to cut down on pet hair and dander. We have LVP flooring in most of the house and it does a good job of vacuuming and mopping in those areas. I’m always shocked at how much dust and fuzz it picks up. We have a multilevel house and I also like that I can take it to the different levels for cleaning. Cons: The Roborock does a good job on our very thin rugs (Ruggable Rugs), but struggles with our thicker rug. After the first vacuuming, the robot continued to get lost on the thicker rug and kept going in circles. I have cleaned the sensors multiple times with no improvement. The rug does have a black boarder and a dark design in the middle of the rug. The vacuum also struggled to pick up the long cat hair off of this rug. To be fair, our regular vacuum also struggles with removing the long cat hair off this rug too. I wasn’t aware before reading the user manual that the roller brush, side brush , and filter would have to be replaced. Doesn’t seem like a huge replacement cost, but still worth mentioning. Overall I am very pleased with the Roborock and it has made my life much easier. I love that I can have it vacuum and mop while I go do something else.

Have had this for a few months now, only use it for vacuum, not mopping. Functions great, the noise level is perfect on Balanced, the dust collector is just right for our whole downstairs if run every other day. Price was good value on sale. It navigates around furniture well with its lidar mapping. Well built, everything hold up.

I already own the Roborock Q7 Max Plus, and I’ve been so pleased with its performance that I decided to buy this one as a gift for my mother-in-law. She’s thrilled with it! It’s easy to use, and she loves how efficiently it vacuums and mops her floors. The suction power is impressive, and the water flow control makes it perfect for different types of cleaning tasks. She uses it every day, and I’m so happy with this purchase — highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch robot vacuum!

I do a main clean once a week. However, floors don't stay perfect for a whole week. That's why I thought getting this would be great to just let it do its thing at least once a week to help keep the house clean without me having to do more cleaning. I love it for that. However, I did a test today. I ran the robo vacuum and then I vacuumed. The vacuum's container was as full as it usually is when I did it without the robo vacuum. Therefore, I DO NOT advice that you get this to REPLACE a vacuum. It also doesn't pick up everything, especially on tile. Most of the house is mapped and for some reason on one level it often doesn't do a certain area as one, so I have to have it do 3 rooms separately at times. I don't know why that is, but it is annoying. I do like it, but it's not perfect. I definitely have to still vacuum once a week to get what the robo vac doesn't pick up. I did find a remote control and spot cleaning in the app, which is helpful when you have a spot vs having to clean the whole room. The remote control is hard to control though, so I will have to get better at it. The pic shows what was vacuumed up in one room with carpet. The small pile on the right is from the roborock. The larger pile is what our regular vacuum picked up AFTER the roborock. I contacted Roborock's support and they've been helpful.

We purchased this machine to replace an earlier Roborock which worked fine. It definitely has not been a hassle free machine. We contacted support 5 days or so after the warranty expired. They initially were going to refund our purchase, but apparently some one who could tell time noted we were a few days out of warranty and the buyback offer was rescinded. Promise not kept. The reason we were late in checking the purchase time was we thought we'd had the machine for a longer period of time as it functionality has been a problem for a very long time. We were surprised it had only been a year. We purchased the machine because: we were replacing an older Roborock which had performed well this machine was advertised ~to have longer battery life ~to have greater suction power ~to handle pet hair better ~ to have improved mapping with room selection etc What we got: This machine needs a lot of attention. Sensors and unit cleaned when notified and I've been doing it after every cleaning. More maintenance than the old machine. ~This machine was advertised to have longer battery life. Not really, particularly if you use the higher power settings plus we have a larger house and it takes 3-4 hours to recharge and three rounds to vacuum the entire house. ~ This machine was advertised to have greater suction power. Seemed like a good thing, but when it transitions from tile to rugs, it pulls up the rug edges and then cannot proceed and/or transmits the "help I'm trapped" code. So we run it on a reduced power setting and have taped down all the rugs ~Advertised to handle pet hair better. Does do that ~Improved mapping with room selection etc. I like the room selection option allowing us to vacuum the house over a couple of days. However, the map degrades over time, the vacuum gets confused and does not clean the entire area. We also have to pick up all objects as the machine will bang and waste major time trying to sweep a phantom area. It has knocked off some floor trim by getting lost requiring floor repair. There is no way to archive the map to restore the original and having a large house I don't like using the new map or re-map feature. Other: I knock off the filter after every run (3 runs needed to clean the house) and if I'm not super careful, the latching tab breaks off. So, I was going through filters too often. Error messages are: Trapped, can't find the dock, clean the laser sensors occurs to frequently imo. Afraid to try the mopping feature as I'd fear wet rugs everywhere. Summary: ~Poor customer service response. ~The vacuum requires a lot of maintenance ~Map deteriorates over time and the machine gets confused. Could not find a way to archive a baseline map ~Does not handle floor to carpet or obstacles particularly well

I was truly amazed how the device mapped out our home then did a terrific job in cleaning the house. We have a dog that sheds an awful lot and the roomba cleaned the house as if we didn’t have any pet at all. Great invention.

Me llego el mismo dia que se coloco, la verdad cada vez que la uso siempre pienso que no hay polvo y saca polvo hasta de donde no hay. Totalmente recomendado, el mapeo y sus configuraciones son de muy alta calidad

Highly recommend this here robot vacuum. It cleans in orderly lines and orders me to clean it. Very easy to maintain, and makes life with adhd much cleaner. It mops too which is nice, you’ll want to get more pads if you plan on using it a lot without cleaning the pad. Cleans my shag carpet very well and loudly, but not an unpleasant noise, just loud on carpets/max suction.
