This is my second order. I am not post partum but have a new belly. They don't roll down and fit higher and above my belly. Other panties are either below the belly or too loose in the legs or bottom saggy to get them over the belly. These are definitely not sexy panties. They are full coverage briefs. But they are extremely comfortable and wash up well. Since they are cotton I ordered a larger size of XL. I am only 5'3 and 148 pounds but I wanted to make sure they wouldn't shrink much. I think that just a L would have been fine for me at my height and weight but im happy with the XL. I wasnt looking for the panties to necessarily hold me in or be tight. They didn't shrink much if any yet and I wash and dry my clothes at the laundromat on high heat. I'm happy with the fit being perfect for me. They have become my favorite underwear but then again I am older and don't worry about being sexy I'm just looking for a good comfortable fit that covers well everywhere in and stays in place. They adhere to your curves very well. The top band does that without binding and is wonderful. The fabric feels quality and durable. Hope this helps.

UPDATE BELOW...........After reading other reviewers reports and reviewing the sizing chart, I purchased the xl. I usually wear a 14/16 or 0x/1x. I am 5'7". They fit comfortably snug. If you're a loosey goosey undie wearer, I would size up. I went out on a limb and ordered the black, the gray and the beige (or nude - it is a very yellowish beige). It was risky for sure. They are mostly cotton with a little spandex for comfort. They washed and dried nicely. They are interestingly sewn, where some thought was truly given in construction. There is a 1/2" elastic waist - which is zig-zag sewn to keep it in place. The crotch is a wide, but possibly a little short. They are high waisted, over my belly button and fit snugly - maybe a slight bit of flattening, but they are not meant to be girdle undies. The older I've gotten the more I am into comfort and the so called "granny panties." Whatever works. The black is a deep, true black - the gray is heathered and the beige/nude is a little yellowy or buttery to me - just a little. Overall, I like these undies. I included some pics of the gray pair because it seemed to be easy to see the stitching, etc... Having said all that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful! UPDATE: 11/30/2020.... Ok.. after wearing these for a while I am back to purchase more. I wear the gray the most so that is what I buy. I am not very fond of the neutral/nude/beige color.... it's yellowish to me. So I am sticking with mostly gray and black - but that is personal choice. They have washed and dried beautifully multiple times. Snug, but comfortable. Holds your tummy in just a little. Stay up. Honestly, these are some of the best cotton undies I've purchased in a while! UPDATE: 12/4/2020... purchased a few more. These are really good so far. Hope they last as well as they fit!

Beige (skin color) 2X At Last!!! Somebody made underwear that isn’t butt floss. Before I forget- I’m 5’7”, weigh 190 and wear a size 8 (snug) 9 (comfortably loosy) underwear. I also have a long rise so ALL underwear for all of my life even before they existed, fit me like mid rise hipsters. Topping that off , even when I was thin I had muscular thighs so regular underwear that wasn’t cut high on the thigh cut me in the thigh though they may be large in the waist. As much as I detested them, I had to wear high cut bikinis which seldom offered full coverage in the back. I have been looking for comfortable grannies panties for most of my life. (I’m 68) I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! They are soft, surprisingly stretchy and the fabric is quite substantial, not too thin so NOTHING shows through. Some reviewers complained off thickness and heat. No complaints here snd I’m in Louisiana so don’t even talk to me about heat. I received these yesterday. I put one on following my shower and then forgot I had them on literally. These truly comfortably cover my belly button and my butt. Nothing rode up in my crack as I did stuff around the house or worked out on my rebounder and when I woke up this morning a choir of angels greeted me! No elastic marks, nothing to pull back into place and I didn’t sweat in them overnight. I am ordering 2 more packages today. I bought the skin color because I don’t have to worry about anything showing through. The leg openings are cut high enough that there is no line BUT not so high you’re in a thong type bottom. The stretch is great. I haven’t washed them yet. They are not by any stretch “smoothing” panties- BUT THEY ARE SMOOTH UNDER CLOTHES. They do NOT look like granny panties at all even though they are a high rise panty but more like a bathing suit bottom. They are nothing short of the best designed underwear for any woman who has been looking for coverage all her life and couldn’t find it! Because I do have a long rise, I think the waist may be too high for somebody who is really short- although I read a rave review by a lady who is 5’2”. Most comfortable panties anywhere!

I don't understand why it's so hard for big box plus size stores to make well fitting, comfortable briefs. This is my 3rd purchase of a pack of the 5x cotton briefs. These are better than any other underwear I've owned my whole life, in every aspect. They're comfortable, no shrinkage, the crotch is wider as it should be, there are no wierd materials, and unfortunately my weight is all in my lower stomach. These underwear pull up all the way and I love the coverage. Just simple, well fitting, high waisted briefs with perfect colour choices. They also hold menstrual pads very well. I will honestly be devastated if the design or fit ever changes. Granny panties for life!
